Thread to discuss the Euro 2016 instead of using the 2015/2016 football season one which is quite through now.

So what do people think about Englands chances of even getting to the last 16 now?

Beat Wales and hope Russia/Slovakia draw. Reckon England will be through then.
If not, fearing the worst.
Shocking in Marseile!
One England fan has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries. Hope he pulls through
How crap have Belgium been? Really expected them to do well!

Surprised at how awful they've been!

Hazard looks like the only one with any ideas

Same, De Bruyne hasn't been great!
Breaking news

UEFA hand Russia suspended disqualification from Euro 2016 over crowd disturbances at game against England.
Absolutely amazing performance from Iceland this evening! Smile

Fantastic yeah! Group F is looking interesting though Hungary at the top! Austria were poor though.

Missed the first half ( POR - ICE ), Though the second half was brilliant!

And of yesterday, Belgium lacked in just about everything and Lukaku was extremely disappointing.

I was literally on the edge of my seat watching Iceland, hoping that they'd hold on or get a winner! A well deserved result...to be honest, England seem a lost cause, I'm supporting Iceland and Wales Big Grin

Belgium were awful yeah - Lukaku should have score at least one and when Origi came on he was no better. De Bruyne and Naiggolan were bad too. Not taking anything away from Italy though as they were impressive

When Ronaldo got the free kick at the end I though fuck... Iceland are a proper team you can tell
Seems the Russian fans are causing trouble again!
I think the Croatian team is pretty strong. The previous game(s) have entailed a lot of close chances and consistently good playstyle.

Yeah some excellent players among the team, Perisic, Mandzukic and Modric all top class players. Have a good chance of getting far too.
What a goal Sturridge for a great win!
Haven't seen the whole game, but does anyone think Spain have a chance of winning?

Have Nolito and Jordi Alba in my fantasy team too - 27 points from them combined so far!
Score predictions tonight then?

I'm saying 2-1 England win, and Wales draw 1-1 with Russia. Think changes are happening with the team though.
England were pants. Every single game in the tournament has been the same.
Get the ball, pass it about on the edge of the box, get it out wide, ping a cross in and then watch the opposition clear it.
Too slow in the build up and not catching teams out, with creativity or speed.

I can see us getting caught out when we play a better team, who will absorb the pressure and counter at speed.

Yep same old shite with England! Wales on the other hand were great.

I know brilliant.

Hungary were also great, that game was the best I've seen at the Euros so far like.

And now Ireland! Absolutely fantastic match, Italy barely had a shot. This tournament is insane!!!

Yeah Wales v Northern Ireland too in the RO16! I agree great tournament, Italy did field a second squad though understandable as they were already through to be fair.
