Next question, what happens to the 327? 2 of the 4 buses are Loynes. I'm interested to see the proposed solution.

Id say 3885-3887/3889 to Percy Main, 2 of which will replace 3866/3867

The ironic thing is, that commercially it could backfire - quite a number of those schools have GNE services operating in the vicinity who will be essentially undercutting the scholars service.

Go North East provide the 834 to the Hermitage, it runs onto the 08:34 34A to Waldridge Park afterwards.
Serious question.

Why is it that the Langley Park bound 13's and 14's head a slightly different route out of Durham City Centre? From Millburngate the 13 turns left and heads past the old County Hospital and St
Leonards School to reach the roundabout outside County Hall (like the Arriva 64 & peak time 7's do) whilst the 14 heads straight along Framwellgate Peth to reach the roundabout outside County Hall. I've never understood why this is the case.

That used to be the case with the Arriva 63/64, too. it's an odd one.

I never understood that one either.

Timings? Framwellgate Peth is the quicker of the two rputes and bearing the mind the route the 14 takes from UHND towards Sacriston, versus the 13, those few minutes might make the difference to having the current PVR and timetables that work.
Are any of the Q3 Versas receiving updated branding and is it a success?

Very short holiday
Oh right, was hoping for a ride on it. Never mind, at least got a photo of it the other day though.

5401 has joined the Beamish bus family: https://www.flickr.com/photos/bazza90/28165322854/

And thank god they have given it a new fleet number on the front!
Wonder which other buses will receive the "Beamish" brand?

We'll just have to wait and see. I wouldn't be particularly surprised if they are aiming for 1 bus per depot though (minus Peterlee, Hexham and Crook).

I do wonder why spare buses need to gain a special livery like this before they get the feature blobs. I know most internet connections pop up on the customers device (may not be the case with all phones) and a message regarding Free WiFi being available scrolls along the screen on the Streetlites but I just find it strange why the features aren't advertised on the exterior of the vehicle. Mind, there is still no WiFi blobs on the Crusader or WTX Citaros.

Sounds like they're trying to get a vehicle from each depot branded up.

Moght get chance to say hello to it, again, in a few weeks.

Don't the WTX Citaros have a huge wifi symbol on the rear side window exterior?

Not the WTX, no. Only the vehicles that were new in 2013 got those stickers.

Ah, alright, thanks.

Really nice that. Tempted to say it looks better than it does on the Streetlites.

I have to disagree, i think it looks better on the Streetlites. Tongue

+1, It looks like one of the joke photoshop edits you'd make. Maybe seeing it on the versas before the streetlites would have impacted my judgement more positively, but I'm still sceptical.
When will they get the livery on the ex nexus solos at percy main which are now pink for indigo. Also the recently painted versas for Q3 surely these should be priority to get up to the correct spec.

The four Nexus solos at Percy Main were the only 4 that were due to be repainted pink.
