I've just been informed that there's been an RTC involving a decker in Stanhope. I presume this is the 46 service.

It was indeed a Weardale ALX400, But the service ( if it was operating one ) hasn't been said yet.

7424 has received generic MAX branding.
13 Aug 2016, 10:26 am
Is there a reason why 7472 ha mysteriously turned up at jesmond and 7470 has been to ashington but both are back at their respected depot
13 Aug 2016, 2:21 pm
Northern Echo just reporting a RTC on Borough Road in Middlesbrough between 4713 and a car. No reported injuries.

2601 is gaining WiFi for Nexus service 6, whilst I followed 2603 up the Great North Road heading for the A1 on the night when the Nexus contracts ended.
2603 hasn't been sighted since, and I presume it's at Thornton's.
One WiFi MPD is moving to Alnwick outstation for service 472 in September.

Service changes mean the 472 will be took over by Arriva and use 1x bus.
Although it should be mentioned in the travelsure thread im going to gather that the caento dart 53 reg and the ex stagecoach solo will likely move out of travelsure

There are no plans for Travelsure to reduce their fleet in the near future as yet.

4701/2 at least have had them for a while. Surprised if 4700 is going to be one of the Frequentas considering its only just been repainted!
22 Aug 2016, 9:52 pm
To be fair 4700 has no arriva logos on either side of it so plenty of room to apply branding. The cream horns can be painted out like they did with durhams E200.

As mentioned in the odd workings thread, Darlington depot have Redcar based Frequenta 63 branded Pulsar NK59 DNN (1432) on loan today whilst a Darlington Omnicity is on loan to Redcar for the Egton Show shuttle service 193. 1432 is working a 1/5/5A/12 board today and it is seen here operating service 5A to Darlington Town Centre.

7423 just overheated and conked out on silent bank.
It's still a bus killer, it seems.
Edit: driver said that the driver before had told him it was a bit slow on hills!
Was our first ride on one of these. Horrible seat layout downstairs and the wheelchair bay is tiny.
