Haven't flicked through the pages, I don't even know when they were brought in, but I'm really liking SNE newcastle streetdecks. Not rode one, but look smart.

The first E400s to transfer to Cumbria from Slatyford are 19141 and 44, Both have been noted at Carlisle Depot.
Both were displaced by New Enviro400MMCs, Which were new entered service earlier this month.

There isn't a low bridge on the route, Dexckers are permitted on the route but it is pretty demanding for a Double Decker.
Brian13 :
They could be used if needed, But they might move in due course to another depot in Cumbria.

Cheers. Might head over to Carlisle soon to see if they're out. Suppose Carlisle to newcastle is pretty demanding considering the route and roads

You won't find them in Carlisle - currently appears they are heading to Morecambe as Trident replacements there.

No low bridges (used to be on one of the lesser used alterations to the route) but the main thing stopping deckers on 685 is low hanging trees in quite good quantities at various places; especially coming into Corbridge from the east.

ALX300's to replace tridents in the long run, Kinetic on trial in Slatyford (service 100) if the bus is durable enough they will still come to Stockton. Some ALX300's won't see service but will stay in Stockton depot until they find a new home.

Cheers. Explains why I haven't seen them for a while.
Just been on the E1 and it took 1 hour to get from sunderland to Horsley hill. Was jam packed and 20 minutes late also to top things off the heaters were on full blast. Definitely need deckers soon. Shame the Slatyford ones went down south etc.
