I agree, needs some text along the main red side panel.
I much prefer plain coloured buses, I'm sure I've mentioned.
Midnight blue coloured citaros and black omnicities for those two weeks. Looked a lot better than now, oh well.

Hmm i wonder what that could be. Wink
Who operates the 454?
Saw a Vyking being attended to by what looked like a Washington fitter earlier. It may have just been that Washington sent out a replacement vehicle mind...

It's not blank space in reality - there's an advert holder there, normally with an advert in it. See photo below - the only space left is the bottom skirt panel:

An advert!

There's nothing else to come: that is the finished product. There will be various messages for the cant rail in the yellow 'flash'. I think it looks very good - it's a modern design, and the various cant rail messages complements Go North East's commitment to constantly evolving and innovating to give customers a better service.

Hopefully it will be paired with more investment into new technology such as Wi-Fi and Next Stop Announcements.

And also advertising said features (maybe not NSAs) along with plug and USB sockets on the corporate liveried vehicles.

Yes, the feature symbols will be present on all corporate liveried vehicles too.

So new logo on the other side of the bus?
Prior to transfer to Crook, Optare Solo 696 has entered service at Chester-le-Street on service 34A.

Seems to be suggestion that it's different to what was in the pipeline, perhaps the addition of advert boards on some vehicles made them rethink certain elements. A welcomed improvement over the previous red though.

Is 571/572 still at Crook or have they gone to SM for repaint because i would imagine they'll replace other MPD's in the fleet.

Both now at Chester-le-Street. 571 was parked nose down on the back wall yesterday afternoon while 572 was on the 21 and 14.

They're likely to be withdrawn - both are at Chester-le-Street.

They're the same age as other MPDs in the fleet, so no real need to use them to replace others.
Ah right, just thought with the B10's replacing others further down the fleet number line, it would be the same with 571/572.

Just because 570 is still in service and has had a seat refurbishment, was wondering if they'll replace other MPD's.

Where will 570 and 605 end up?

That was a pointless trip to Chester then, not going to Bishop Auckland this time of day as will get dark soon so will go another day there to see them.

The 2 non DDA ones are:

3866 - withdrawn

3867 - not sure if its withdrawn yet.

But those are the only 2 which need to be withdrawn from that route.

The fleet lists for the time being needs to be accessed through this: http://northeastbuses.co.uk/fleet/list.php?operatorF=2&priorityF=all&soldF

Dan mentioned that the fleet list home page is getting re-done hence why we can't access it from the fleet list tab...... this can be found here: http://www.northeastbuses.co.uk/forum/sh...p?tid=1890&pid=184692#pid184692

The "Up to Every 10 minutes" is still correct as its 10 minutes on peak times and saturday all day so I dont think this will be changed.

I don't think 3866 has been withdrawn, I got a photo of it on Monday. Unless it has gone since then.
