3832 spotted in Bensham on scholars this morning as was 3819.  Wonder if one of 3818 or 3824 has been withdrawn.

3824 is withdrawn - http://northeastbuses.co.uk/fleet/item.php?operatorF=2&fleetnoF=3824
3996 as described yesterday or whenever it was:

Does this confirm that the double deckers will not be gaining one of the taglines below the lower deck wnidows?

Which taglines? The yellow flash ones, the same as 633 has?

It has the url on the blue part behind the LD seats. No others like. I'd hope the taglines on 633 dont crop up elsewhere, not a fan lol.

Yep although I gather the flash is still being trialled on 633.

Ideally, the text needs to be white or something as when it starts being rolled out to the rest of the fleet, the black text will be more difficult to read on the Citaros/Streetlites with having the black window thing where the vinyl will be applied.
I thought that tags were going to be rewritten to say "Do not favourite a picture of this bus between 1`1pm at night and 10am in the Morning" Tongue
So I wonder if this will happen with the Citaros:

5275-84 for the Green Arrow.
5285-91 for the X5.
And 5331-38 for the Blue Arrow.

Then the 9 would be allocated newer Solars from either the Fast Cats or the Blue Arrow, and then the older Solars would start to be withdrawn.

Citaros for the Blue Arrows is very unlikely because of Depot Standardisation it's unlikely Percy Main will get citaros becasuse they currently don't have any in there fleet

They'll have to get something soon though, as the Scania's will be withdrawn at some point.

Citaro seems a good choice, unless it gets new Streetlites in the 2017/2018 financial year Wink

Omnicities could go on it too, when some comes available.
4896 has been withdrawn from Stanley.

Last one in service - the cadets still exist in the training fleet (I know 8266 is a Merit but with both types being so similar, may as well just keep them in the same bracket)

Percy Main however has had experience of M-B Citaros as they did have them on the Cobalt Clipper, and they also had everyone's "favourite" pairing of 5337 and 5338 too.
percy main are getting citaros for the coaster and the 19.
5442 is out again today on 16/16A - it is the 1230 16A from Stanley.

Aye. Thankfully my camera is more reliable than my memory!

I would like that but I can't see it happening as the Citaros aren't much younger than the Omnicities. Where did you here that like?

To be fair the numbers do add up if you are just including the Blaydon Racers/Durham Diamond.

Maybe another Citaro is route is getting new buses?, this might allow all of Green/Blue Arrows, X5 and the 9 to go Citaro.

Although nothing is confirmed, all speculation.
*As stated below, these are confirmed to be incorrect*

A strong rumour that is entirely believable given it came from a discussion with an LD and engineer.
1 66 plate streetlite has been returned to have the engine rewired/fixed.
1 66 plate streetlite has been returned to have a gearbox fixed.
1 66 plate streetlite was nearly returned for a faulty streering adjust column.

These are all the midnight blue examples at Stanley. I cannot confirm these statements are true, but I can well believe them.

I would say that it is rather unlikely that all 3 have developed issues at the same time - especially as 2 have seen use today:

5442 in service on the 16/16A: https://flic.kr/p/QTcrC3
5443 with the NSA testing NIS display: https://flic.kr/p/QTbVgw

Have anymore Streetlites arrived?

Go North East have uploaded a picture of the new Durham Durham Streetlites (Can't make it any bigger for some reason), photo is from https://www.gonortheast.co.uk/timesfares/16#timetable)

Brand is the same expect it has the same style side route info as the Prince Bishops.

Can just about be confirmed now that these will feature Seat back USB Port's, As shown above. Instead of the 3 Pin Sockets fitted into the shell of the bus on previous orders.

Hopefully they'll work better, then.
