Ok. Are the current MAX buses going to get debranded?
Just had a thought, but would it not be better for 6x to get ordered for the X18 (due to it being the busier of the 2x routes) then, cascade 7529-7533 on to the X15?

Unless plans are in the pipeline for the near future.

The PVR of the X15 is only 4, though. 7529-33 are only 3 and a half years old, and are doing perfectly well on the X18. Seems pointless to cascade them to the X15, which hasn't had new vehicles for as long as I can remember.

Equally, I'd argue the X18 is only (a bit) busier during the summer months. Between Newcastle and Morpeth both routes are generally carrying pretty healthy loads. Even during the summer, the X15 is the quicker bus to Alnwick for tourists.
Full and standing loads in 'deckers aren't unheard of on the X15, Davey!
I'm told from a reliable source that all planned new vehicle purchases have been cancelled. The X15 included.

There will be no new buses for any Arriva regions this year.
Is anyone able to sum up recent transfers as I'm a little lost with it all since the Sapphire Streetlites arrived in Feb? I know Darlo seem to have lost a 4 branded and 13 branded Solo to Redcar and Newcastle respectively.

Initial movements were supposed to be:

Darlington
In: New Streetlites 1602 - 1614; 2817 (ex Durham)
Out: 1906 (Disposal), 1425-28 (to Stockton), 1461-63/65/66/98, 1506/07 (to Durham), 2869 (to Redcar, for service 95)

1465/66/98, 1506/07 were all planned to be refurbished to Sapphire spec for service 23.

Durham
In: 1461-63/65/66/98, 1506/07 (ex Darlington)
Out: 7609/10 (to Redcar, for Whitby P&R), 1574-78 (to Jesmond), 2817 (to Darlington) and 2814 (to Jesmond)

Jesmond
In: 1574-78 (ex Durham), 2826 (ex Redcar), 2814 (ex Durham)
Out: 4517/18/20/21/23 (Disposal), 2870/71 (to Redcar, for service 95).

Then all of the swaps with Arriva Yorkshire and Yorkshire Tiger seemed to scupper things, mainly seeing the Cadets continuing to live on at Stockton and service 7 converted to Pulsar operation instead. Revised movements were then:

Darlington
In: New Streetlites 1602 - 1614; 2815 (ex Jesmond), 2817 (ex Durham), 4802 (ex reserve/repair)
Out: 2856 (to Jesmond, for contract work), 2862 (to Redcar), 1424/27 (to Stockton), 1466/98/506 (to Durham)

Unrelated to the Streetlites, but 1406/16 also transferred to Stockton for a temporary transfer of services.

Durham
In: 1466/98/506 (ex Darlington)
Out: 1461, 2817 (to Darlington) 1576/77/78 (to Jesmond), 7609/10 (to Redcar, for P&R), 2811/14 (to Yorkshire Tiger)

Not sure where the two ex-Yorkshire Enviro200s fit into this, as I haven't actually seen them mentioned anywhere.

Jesmond
In: 2856 (ex Darlington), 1576/77/78 (ex Durham), 2602/03 (ex Yorkshire)
Out: 2815 (to Darlington), 4518/21/23 (Disposal), 2870/71 (to Redcar)

Blyth
Out: 2831 (to Selby)

Also been the swap of 7801-10 (to Yorkshire) and 7628-37 (to Blyth), here.

Redcar
In: 2862 (ex Darlington), 2803 (ex Stockton, temp loan)
Out: 2826 (to Selby)

Reserve Fleet
Out: 2803/04/05/07/08/29 (to Yorkshire Tiger - NSA all removed first), 1922 (reinstated Stockton)

If anyone wants to clarify what has happened (compared to what's been put on paper), I'll try and update our fleet lists... But it's a bit of a struggle at the moment when things are here, there and everywhere.

Cheers for that. So which of these transfers are temporary or are they all permanent? It seems like there's a lot going on.

All transfers are permanent - apart from 1406/1511, which are a 'temporary' long term at present (apart from the fact that from May, the two boards are re-worked to better fit Stockton operation).

Still to happen is 1424 from Darlington to Stockton for the 7 alongside 1425-8 as all 5 already have NSAs fitted (the units out of the cascaded Solos are due to be fitted to 6 Pulsars in the near future - understand the plan is to have 1423/56-60 treated).

It was 2862 that’s transferred to Whitby instead of 2869

Getting ready to be sold off?

Actually that has just reminded me about some time ago I saw something somewhere that DB (owners of -Arriva) was looking to focus on Rail.
I’ll have to try and find it.

Not sure whatever happened to those plans.
Almost two years since the story broke and it seems to have gone quiet since.
Does anyone know where 7475 is. Haven't seen it since it left blyth for ashington and blyth got 7469 back.
2814 in Yorkshire Tiger Livery - https://www.flickr.com/photos/bunny400/2...n/feed2820
2820 also in Yorkshire Tiger Livery - https://www.flickr.com/photos/bunny400/2...08/in/feed -
Very smart

Cameron had already stated it was at Ashington!
Perhaps the user who replied with just "Ashington" should have perhaps had a better approach for example "it remains allocated to Ashington" as that would be more easy to understand.

"Ashington"

How on earth can you take anything from that other than it is at Ashington?
1424 and 1498 still at Darlington today. 1424 I assume unti 4813 is back up and running which is due next week. Following the result of the court case 4802 is due to be released back to Arriva - which presumably in time will cascade another Pulsar

I agree!

?. Blank message? (Wisey!)
No, 7475 is now officially allocated to the moon. It was on the 35 between Craterpeth and Craterhorn yesterday.
