Now out in the open.... I can say that Lancaster are due 18 new E400MMC in the coming weeks for service 1. There are also two new E400MMC for Carlisle depot for use on the 685 to solve capacity issues.

All the above are to be delivered in corporate livery with minimal branding for each service.

These additional buses for Cumbria & North Lancashire are included in an extension of the 2018 order.

Will these be 11139-58 or are there more orders to be disclosed?
I'm guessing the Lancaster ones will see 10014-31 cascaded elsewhere.

Will confirm in due course.

10014-31 will stay in Lancaster aiding to withdraw the mixed batch bag of MANviro. Most of those MANs will then move onto disposals.

27141 and 27142 will move onto the 104 at Carlisle, displacing two MANviro to disposal.

Wow, MAN's really are out of favour with Stagecoach. They are barely a decade old. And 'deckers replacing saloons to boot. Must still be growth somewhere in the industry.

They’d have a job using them on service 2, given it goes under a bridge a decker can’t fit under...

Due in the 'coming weeks', they're in production as we speak. And no, as stated all will be in corporate livery with minimal branding Cross Pennine branding.

Also now publicly known.... one of the deckers has been diverted elsewhere so now only 19 are being delivered. This has resulted in only one example being delivered to Carlisle, but a second one should arrive in the months ahead.

There's an approved VOSA change for route amendment.

That was quick!

What are these replacing again?, and where are the current buses going?

MANviro at Morecambe, with those going onto disposals for other regions to take a punt at... - but no interest yet I believe, so will be parked up and some may become reserve float at C&NL.
Cross Pennine 27141/2 at Carlisle will be repainted into corporate livery in due course for eventual full-time allocation on the 104s (Carlisle-Penrith) alongside current MANviro and E400 - obviously the second E400MMC is delayed so may delay the repaint process.

Thanks, surprised that no one has picked the MANviro yet...

Not a good reputation .... West have some, and are trying to pick up more pure ADL ones to replace them, together with major re-engineering on the survivors to improve their reliability.
29103 parked inside the gate at Peasmarsh (Guildford) today, no legal lettering visible but branded for P & R and 'Electric' lettering.

Carlisle's 11157 (YX68UXH) is due, with the final Cross Pennine one (11158) still on hold.

11157 is now at Carlisle and being prepped for service.
[Image: 46452077182_73794e06b3_z.jpg]11157 (YX68UXH) Carlisle Depot20 by Carlisle Bus Group, on Flickr

11158 is on loan to UK Bus, and is due to be delivered to Stockport - this is the first vehicle in UK Bus to be rigged up to the Cloud for ticketing, diagnostics etc.
Final registrations for the BYD E200MMCs for Guildford Park & Rides are:
29101 LJ68CZA
29102 LJ68CZB
29103 LJ68CZC
29104 LJ68CZD
29105 LJ68CZE
29106 LJ68CZF
29107 LJ68CZG
29108 LJ68CZH
29109 LJ68CZJ

For those who seen pictures of them with YX68 plates it appears they were wrongly plated by ADL, with BYD already having plates reserved.

Is that the Cross Pennine branding being dropped completely then?

No it's due to get some branding applied in due course, which includes removal of what they have already applied to it.

Can you clarify the details/plans etc for this bus - specifically, when it will be at ST, for how long and is it for service or just these "diagnostics" tests?

thanks

I'm not too sure on how long it will be there, or if it will go elsewhere before heading back to Cumbria I'm affraid. It is away for a few months though. It has landed at Stockport now I understand, and it will be in service.
