Let's hope you didn't hear that from a driver Wink
My source is the Northern Pixie society, they're never wrong, except when it comes to Matrix road-signs and notices!

Does anyone know if the MetroDecker has been active or not. Planning on going bus riding tomorrow if it's out and about.

I shall check the app in the morning to see if I will be dishing out for a day rover.
Just out of curiosity how long do MPDs 618 and 619 have left in service?
722 fresh out of the paintshop this afternoon - https://www.flickr.com/photos/adammalark...ed-public/

718 and 719 both fully branded and undergoing further preparation before entering service - https://www.flickr.com/photos/adammalark...ed-public/

6169 all sanded down heading into paint booth this afternoon - https://www.flickr.com/photos/adammalark...ed-public/

Wonder where 718/719 will end up?, it has X1 on the back of them but we know most buses have more than 1 set of depot blinds installed.

Probably a bit too early for the 23 - that doesn't start until 22nd July.

The only other depot that would have Washington destinations programmed in and are in need of minibuses is Peterlee (I think!).

No, got to be percy, we're still borrowing 654 from Peterlee.

Riverside have X1, for Boxing Day

Chester might, as they do an X1A

So it basically can be from any depot since every depot has access to an X1 with that in mind.

Deptford, Washington & Peterlee all have the same destinations in there buses.  Crook, Stanley & Chester all have the same destinations.  Riverside, Hexham & Percy Main all have the same destinations.

Why, did it chop a toe off it's foot?
Having a proper read of the news etc on here, as i'm back from the lake district, just noticed, the Red Arrow B9's are next to get the Eminox systems fitted.

They already have the system fitted (that's why the Red Arrows batch of B9s are so sluggish compared to the rest) - they're just undergoing some further work.

Ah right, don't use the X1 so wouldn't know.

Their speed (or lack of) particularly on the fast slip roads on the Washington Highway has been mentioned a few times on here over the years.
The last time I managed to get an Omnidekka on there, the difference was noticeable.
Even with the extra weight it was carrying that day.
What routes will the new Solo SRs be put on?

Hopefully 237/8

I believe some will go to Chester Le Street, possibly for cathedral bus.

What does the future hold for Stanleys remaining Tooklink Omnidekkas

I seen two out in service today, both on Toonlink services.

I'm assuming they acting as spares short term, but are they expected to be withdrawn once the Newer longer Omnidekkas are in service?
Just Passed Toonlink B9 - (Think it was 6150 LJ62KCU off route) broken down on A691 Lanchester to Leadgate just before Delves/Hurbuck junction - Holding up traffic, already right back into Lanchester and growing. No breakdown yet in attendance. Wonder how reliable these ex London buses will be.

There are a few that sound rough, but the rest are what you'd expect. They're comfy and do the job.
