It didn't say the 36 on front of the bus, it was not in service
Maybe it was... maybe it wasn't, it was passing the petrol station after the Barnes Gatory system

Aye, 6318 definitely was on the 12 to Winlaton one time, the angle of the picture just made it look a bit like a Blaydon Racer citaro!

At least it was tracking! This morning, nothing was. Again.
I know things don't come without their faults, but it appears that the tracking customer services use was down too. Not ideal for informing customers.
Is the reason the next stop announcements on X85 when allocated deckers say half the announcement then start again and does the announcement in full

All apps have glitches which have not been ironed out when the app was originally launched, this sort of thing I would report to GNE as they can forward this on to whoever created for any issues to be rectified hopefully.
I currently work in customer services for DPD and we have ongoing issue at the minute where if a customer selects for there parcel to be delivered to a pick up store e.g. Currys PC World, Halfords, Sainsbury's etc close by, say within a mile, the app once they make the request then defaults while processing to a pick up store which is the furthest away for the customer, it's a right pain in the arse at the moment as nobody knows what is causing the issue which has been ongoing for a month and a half now.
The only way in customer services we can rectify this is by getting the depot to reconsign the parcel onto a new parcel number and relabel it to go to there home address, which isn't really ideal for most customers who are not home all day.
Dan, I thought you'd said that 722 was meant to be for the Asda shuttles because it has cheap and horrible seats? For the last 2 weeks it's been on the M's and I hate it, can you please get it reassigned to its correct, lowly duties post haste? XD

The problem yesterday was a fault on Ticketer's side: all bus operators in the country who use Ticketer had downtime on their tracking yesterday morning. The tracking in Ticketer then feeds other systems, which includes the mobile app, so if one goes down, they pretty much all go down (separate tracking systems are on the buses, but don't show real-time information).
Usually when there's no tracking on the app, company employees can still use other systems to track buses, but as you say, we couldn't yesterday morning for a few hours.

Haha, well what happens in reality is often different to what happens on paper...
I’ve just seen a castles express going down the coast road, going towards the coast . Anyone know where it’s going? Percy Main?

6304 - going to Bells (Mercedes) near Benton ASDA for some mechanical work covered under warranty.

MrBoyt will be pleased to hear it's back on the ASDA bus today!

(03 Jul 2018, 5:25 pm)Dan wrote [ -> ]Sounds like the driver had inputted the wrong destination, intentionally or accidentally, and the system hadn't defaulted back to the "unrecognised journey" (because the 28 doesn't have announcements programmed).
This is a system fault on a handful of buses across the patch which the equipment supplier has been looking into for a while now - but drivers should know that if they return to the "Not in Service" display then to their correct route, that this problem goes away, if they do have one of the buses with this fault.

Hanover believe they have fixed the fault, and have released a new version of the software for Go North East to test tomorrow.

Currently on a solar on 35. Uncomfortable and I'm going to be deaf by the time I get off

It isn't 5215 by any chance is it. It has more rattles than Mothercare ! I was driving it for 4 hrs 30 mins the other day and had a stotting headache when I got off it.

My thoughts on those (ex)#purplesolars are well documented.
5215 and the rest of that batch, should have been binned off years ago imo.
Horrendous vehicles.
#retrohashtagsonNEB
How come the text on the rear destination of 5378 is smaller than rest of versas
6137 had to be terminated early at whitley bay on the 17:33 309 from newcastle to blyth due to the driver of 3996 running NIS behind it alerting the driver on 6137 a bit of the bumper hanging off
5304 (on X84 today @ 13:35) has acquired a very loud continuous howling noise that makes it sound like a London Underground tube train.
By contrast, 5301 on X85 @ 14:40 from Hexham was remarkably quiet and refined by comparison.
619 was still chugging around Hexham on 684 service.
I really will miss it when it goes.

Nope. I have this delight on the way home. Worse thing is work was called off due to low turnout of teams. Paying £3 in total to not be able to play a game due to bumps etc and feel sick by the time I got off.
Any info on 9090 ? I heard that it is at Saltmeadows.

What type of bus is that?
