Hopefully 674 will go into Sunderland colours - be just like when we had 1218 & 1227 running on the summer 22's.

Not too sure, but I'd hope the City Sightseeing seats are replaced for something a lot more neutral!

674 is privately owned by an events company, won't be getting restored in the too distant future anyway.
671 has a new life as a zip wire platform....

670 and 673 were still stored at Slatyford.

And Economic never had an open topper?

My thoughts exactly on the seats - will look more garish than ever against the Economic maroon and cream!

Oh I thought 674 was in preservation or something to do with A-line and any photos anywhere of 671?  Sounds a bizarre new life!

S'pose it's up to the person spending thousands on painting (and saving it from scrap) it what colour it goes.

It's stored at THV Felling 674, just rents a space in the unit. It's to be kitted out with a bar in the future, the owner does the karaoke at Cosy Joes in Newcastle - one day it might pass to us at THV!

That's a shame, but at least they've been saved from scrap for now.  671 looks sad!

Maybe 670 or 673 could still be saved and go into Sunderland yellow and green.

NEBPT I guess still own 670 and 673, as all were sold to them minus 674 which they missed out on. We enquired about getting one at THV, but missed out.

yes it is up to the person to put it in any colour there like, but everyone going to know that the bus never wore that livery

although to be fair, none of the batch wore any pre-Stagecoach liveries as open toppers!
19200 still has it's costumer information sticker on the bottom back window from 2007-2012 when they had mega rider and uni rider liveries on all the E400s
All of Slatyford's E200MMCs have now lost their Stagecoach bus app lettered vinyls from their rear-side windows - all still retain their rear wraps minus 26070 which is back out with after its rear shunt accident, now with a fresh rear. Also wish Slatyford would debrand the E200/E400 with rear replacement windows like Walkergate have, or get a new vinyl for the back.....

Most E200MMCs are also carrying a rear advert promoting 30/31 in the advert board.

Had been meaning to mention for a while now that more and more MMCs seem to be completely blank on the rear, or are missing a substantial part of the branding. Think there may be more than just 26070 with fresh rears - I can't be seeing the same one all the time!

They look better for it void of branding the E200s, it's a shame to cover up the rear glass cove as it's quite large and curved on them.

I wish Sunderland would do the same with 36965/72/79 which are missing branding over the rear window

First one I saw with the new ad was on the 87 Big Grin , some also have an ad for the 36.
20550 has been sold to Ensign.
With Newcastle's allocatons changing quite a lot am I correct with this allocation?
1: Enviro 400s
6/7/8: ManViro200s
10/11: ALX300s
12: Enviro 400s
18: 1x Kinetic, 2x Enviro 400s
22: Enviro 400s
30/31/36: Enviro 200 MMCs
32/32A: ManViro200s
35: ManViro200s
38: Enviro 400s
39/40 Enviro 400s Hybrid
62/63/X63: Enviro 400 MMCs
X47: Enviro 400s, ALX300s
X78: ALX300s
X82: ALX300s
X87/X88: ALX300s, Enviro 400s.

Also with the 18 only having one single decker allocated to, what are 22022, 22024 and the spare kinetic often allocated to?

Also is it true Slatyford are due to take more cascaded vehicles to see off more ALX300s?

1: Enviro 400s
6/7/8: ManViro200s - yes, but in reality can  throw up ALX300
10/11: ALX300s - two E400 boards also, but generally all ALX300 worked. Saturday tends to sees E400. E400MMC on Sundays.
12: Enviro 400s - yes, the spare two E400Hs on paper are allocated to the 12s, but appear on any Walkergate decker service really. E400Hs on a Sunday.
18: 1x Kinetic, 2x Enviro 400s - generally...
22: Enviro 400s
30/31/36: Enviro 200 MMCs - spare E400MMCs on a Sunday tend to also see use here
32/32A: ManViro200s
35: ManViro200s
38: Enviro 400s - E400Hs on a Sunday
39/40 Enviro 400s Hybrid
62/63/X63: Enviro 400 MMCs - 60-plate E400 on X63s minus peak interworking MMC ones
X47: Enviro 400s, ALX300s - X47 standalone most of the day with ALX300, peak express  interworks see the deckers
X78: ALX300s
X82: ALX300s
X87/X88: ALX300s, Enviro 400s.

71/72: MAN E300/E200 on paper. Often see an E200MMCs or two.
87: MAN ALX300
100: MAN E300

Also with the 18 only having one single decker allocated to, what are 22022, 22024 and the spare kinetic often allocated to? anything, covering lost mileage or breakdown. 22024 was on the 1 in the morning Friday then 39 in afternoon.

Also is it true Slatyford are due to take more cascaded vehicles to see off more ALX300s? Nothing imminent, but I'm sure there's plenty going on behind the scenes to aid their withdrawal

X87/X88 E400/ALX300 MON-FRI / E400 mostly SAT/E400MMC SUN

In my opinion this the busiest of all the Eldon Square Xpress services and one of Slatyfords busiest behind the 60s and the 100
