As I mentioned before, the idea is that the fleets will be standardised where possible.
Yes, just 720 left to be delivered. That one underwent MOT on Friday last week, so delivery should follow at some point this week.
Buggy bays need to be created in these Solos as they currently only have wheelchair bays, with the other seats being forward-facing. Go North East's standard is to have one wheelchair and one buggy bay.
Mostly Deptford, yes.
Ah right, I think theres a few single deck boards at PM for scholars if I'm not mistaken? Multiple ones that GNE have won I've seen operated by a Henry Cooper single decker. (18A, 151 and 664 stand out) - are these going to be Omnicities or am I wrong in saying there's single deck boards.

6909, 6911, 6913 and 6916 are all currently at Saltmeadows Road having destination displays installed and being prepared for repaint. 6915, I think, is still at Riverside.
So lots of work to be done this week...! The Solos are low-priority compared to the B7s, given the urgency in getting them on the road, but 725 has now been repainted into fleet livery while 721 and 724 are currently having the internal modifications done.
Will the Cobalt Clippers be done soon after the B7s?

I hope you weren't lobbying him about extra routes via Lambton, Mr. Malarkey!!

Being truthfully honest I did not even see him, if I did I would've asked for a direct route to Newcastle
The new MD was not at the rally today, he was at creamfields instead enjoying his bank holiday, its on his twitter

Weird, everyone enthusiast I spoke to mentioned it including the drivers yesterday.
Yesterday I was on the service 32A due at Rye Hill at 15:31 which arrived at 15:40 and crashed at 15:53 at Cowgate Morrisons. The bus sustained left rear bodywork damage. Anyone know if the 49-branded Streetlite is still in service?
How come I've seen some Quaylinks showing 'Newcastle', and some showing 'Central Station' - whats the story there? I would have thought they weren't new enough to have the new controllers to allow them to change part way through their route?
On the 21 yesterday it said Eldon Square the whole journey, so maybe they're testing out having it the whole journey. Then again, The 21 leaving Gateshead Interchange going to Durham also said Eldon Square on it so maybe it was a glitch

From my basic knowledge of the software, 'Newcastle' and 'Eldon Square' will be different displays in the destination list leaving the Eldon Square display able to be selected by the drivers manually from any point on the route (despite being advised otherwise on their running board) rather than being out of bounds until it automatically changes at Gateshead.
Anyone know whats wrong with 629/630 as they seem to have been off the road for a while now?
Is there a reason why when 5438 was repainted a couple of months ago that it didn't receive the blue paint on the rear ?

It was intended to receive a promotional livery at the time. This may not happen now.

On the X21 at the minute and it's not announcing the route when the doors close but it's still saying the next stop. I thought there was something missing and it took me to Chester Le Street to realise it wasn't saying it
