I echo this.
Some questions regarding Arriva Teeside:
1: What buses are allocated to the peak X17s?
2: How long do the DAF Cadets have left in service?
3: What will replace the DAF Cadets?
I'm just curious as having travelled on 1920 on the 17 to Yarm, it felt like a trip back in time.
To be honest my suggestion would be to refurbish all standard Pulsars at Belmont to Sapphire put them on 22/23/24. Release 1595 - 1601 to Stockton and put them on 7s then the Pulsars off the 7 go onto the 17.

The peak X17 journeys run using Pulsars which work off Middlesbrough local services.
The cadets are due to go, likely to be replaced by Pulsars, although no fixed timescale. They were originally planned to go earlier this year, but a contract win at Yorkshire Tiger required the Solos from Stockton, resulting in the Pulsars that were cascaded in from Darlington, running on Service 7 instead, as they are next stop announcement fitted - something Service 7 needed to retain.
Pulsars at Belmont are already planned to be refurbished into sapphire, as the 22/23/24 will interwork later this year - all sapphire specification, so they are not available.

X17s are worked off 8s and 28s. In fact one of the morning X17s works back onto X17s in the evening.
The Cadets have atleast 10 months on MOT
Cadet replacements have had a crazy amount of rumors Commanders, Pulsars and Tempos personally I think it will be pulsars.
Not sure the Streetlites will be at Stockton for much longer.so it's pointless sending the 6 down from Durham

Disappointed that Arriva have route branded a vehicle that is part of the routes PVR? Christ.

They could always put 1550 - 1559 on the Sapphire 6 at Durham, then send 1524 - 1533 to Stockton.

Yet it was absolutely fine to run around in the completed Pride livery for around a month, while making up part of the 308's PVR? The branding just detracts from the cause the bus is intended to promote Arriva's support of. I'm biased, but I'm struggling to think of a reason why that's good, as you are appearing to suggest.
If they are that bothered about making sure 308 branding features on the entire PVR, they should have looked into painting one of the spare MAX Geminis and branding that Pride instead.
Aware that GNE's 8335 carries the Quaylink brand name, but now there are enough Versas to operate on the Q1/Q2 without it needing to form part of the main allocation on paper, I hope that it will be changed to look more like 5292 in the future.

Quite.

How does it detract from supporting LGBT? The swoop hasn't changed, and is still a very prominent part of the livery. It was always meant to be allocated to the 308, so route branding it makes sense. Very much seems like you're making a fuss about nothing.

When I saw it yesterday my eyes were drawn straight to the branding, completely bypassing the Pride swoop. I don't speak for everyone, hence why you clearly don't share the same views as myself, but that experience is my reasoning for suggesting that the branding does detract from the LGBT element of the livery.
I'm fully aware that it was always going to be allocated to the 308, hence why I suggested in my last reply to you that they should have looked into repainting and fitting the Pride livery to one of the MAX spares at Blyth instead if they were that bothered about branding. After all, they're going to be repainted eventually.
I'm also still waiting for a suggestion as to why it was seen as ok to allow the bus to run around 308 branding free for at least a month, while still making up past of the 308's PVR, as it was always planned that it would, very much seems like you've glossed over that part of my post.
You might think I'm fussing about nothing and yes, it isn't the most important thing in the world, but I'm still perfectly entitled to have an opinion on it and explain (or fuss?) myself when somebody criticizes it.

I thought that was the idea.

Hear hear.
The X16 has just gone through Stannington. Any idea why?
From Friday 17th August 2018, Stockton will run Cadets on 7/7A, NSA fitted Pulsars will be on 17/17A due to passenger growth and an upcoming rebrand of them services!
Thought the 7s had to have NSAs!

That's a shame. Will miss the sound of the Cadets passing Middlesbrough library!
Is the allocation of the 55 still 4 solos
Darlington council doing what they do best as messing with the A167 between north road and Aycliffe, causing everything to be anywhere between 15-35 minutes late

Still the chances, spare ones will probably end up on a 17A, 9 or 29A
What are the chances of a Temsa Avenue appearing on services X4/X93? And are there any boards where they are allocated or creep up alot?

You can find them fairly regularly on the X4 and X93 most days.
For the X93 the best ones to look for are probably the 'extra' Redcar boards i.e. the 0900 and 1000 out of Middlesbrough.
A few weeks ago, someone was kind enough to post here the depot allocations for Arriva Northumberland, covering the fleets at Jesmond, Ashington and Blyth - a very useful piece of information, with some interesting nuggets in it!
Would anyone happen to have the equivalent information for the "southern" division that they could post in here? Many thanks!

Has anyone noticed 1446 says Gareth Southgate on it not one that but the World Cup finished over a month ago

Eleven Pulsars were originally dedicated to Boro's best 11 around 2011 sometime. The fact this one still has Gareth Southgate was just a coincidence for the world cup. It's been named Gareth Southgate longer than he has been in the job!
There are a few others that have the only remaining evidence being a plaque on the side destination screen inside.

Its quite a nice touch, wish Jesmond would do that to our buses,it reminds me of the Metro, they had dedicated metrocars up until they were refurbished, think 4041 is the only one dedicated now
