What's the purpose in allocating 2 deckers to the 18 when Walkergate have 3 spare single decks which see regular use on the 12/22.

Also how long have the 03 plate MANs have left in service?

Excellent value tickets.
Nice introductory offer and there's an incentive to buy a day ticket which is valid too!

Please note: dayrider tickets are not valid on night services N1, N30, N39, N40 or N88.

Night riders are though. Bought during the day and valid on a night.
19443 is back, dont know if it was noted but was in service on 22 today
Also not yet mentioned, although strictly not North East based but related, is the conversion of one of the Carlisle 685 turns to double decker operation during school term from today (as reported on various regional Facebook groups). 18326 is working the second of their two turns:

0705, 1215, 1730 from Carlisle
0945, 1445, 1955 from Newcastle

All posting about this has mentioned that, pending the hopeful arrival of a more suitable specification decker next month, the likely allocated decker for the turn will be 19144 - returning it to its original home city on trips.
I would to see Some thank replace some of 03 and 54 man at stagecoach on teesside.

18358 on today, 19144 has been put out on the 554.
Hexham school been the problem.

Also, 1730 off Carlisle should be a Cross Pennine E300 off schools.
Why are 27730 and 27739 never in service at South Shields?

Maybe they are the most unreliable of the batch?

27730 was VOR for several weeks a few months ago and did have a very loud cooling fan.
27739 had its engine rebuilt a few years back and I'm sure still had issues afterwards.

Also, 36473 sounds terrible and has done for a while.
When will the 10x Manviros arrive at Sunderland from Hartlepool?

Saw 18358 passing through Brampton Sands about 17.28 - running late.  Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancs twitter said "Service 685 14:45 Newcastle-Carlisle is operating 35 mins late due to a vehicle fault. Sorry for the delay."

Interesting that Stagecoach are putting the decker out all day whereas Arriva run the decker on the early afternoon roundtrip returning to Newcastle at Brampton schools out time.  Although one day last week the Arriva decker also did an evening roundtrip - must have been a bad Scania Omnicity day that day.

I guess a more suitable decker will be a Scania.

22428 is the second one.

I'd have thought it would be the 59 plates that were being swapped
35189 now in service at Hartlepool, was on service 1 today.

Apparently 36466 has been Withdrawn at Hartlepool as it's engine has gave up. Would it not be easier for Hartlepool to get brand new buses for the 1?

Financial reasons - any new stock for Hartlepool now would basically kill the depot off.

26 - the bulk of that is the 6/7 (which requires 15).
