Thats ashame 6017 is a good bus and if I remember correctly 6136 is rattly as heck would prefer an omnidekka being a float viechle and have low use than a president

They're not being allocated to set boards. Currently none are scheduled to be allocated today.

National Express timetables are generally the same every day, apart from some minor adjustments to timetables on a Saturday and Sunday to reflect reduced congestion.
The 1320 x 326 and 1730 x 380 only run on Fridays and Sundays.
Interesting Ten Minute Bill by Matt Western on Regulation of Bus Drivers Hours on Local as well as Long distance routes. He also mentions the practice of some operators dividing a route into 2 or 3 to avoid EU regulations of routes over certain lengths (50km?)- Note Newcastle Express to Middlesbrough via Peterlee and Newcastle to Carlisle via Hexham. In his Bill which has been passed to proceed to next stage on 22nd March, he expresses this practice should no longer be allowed. Some further interesting points expressed, which may affect operations by bus operators

The 685 should be split with Arriva on Newcastle to Hexham and Stagecoach Hexham to Carlisle.
Are GCT going to be doing route learning for the 32A? GNE did for a few weeks before taking over the service from Arriva.
I am disappointed GNE has lost the contract. I will now have no GNE services on a Sunday. I will use the GCT 32A to and from the City Centre on Sundays though. I just won't have the same ticket acceptance I sometimes enjoyed with GNE. I usually stuck with a Day Rover anyway, but it was good to have the options.

Stagecoach do this practice quite a bit, the amount of routes in Scotland this would affect would be quite high. Services 10 and 35 in the Aberdeen area are just a couple that get split more than once.

Metro replacements finishing in Benton, might've been me if it was a Fab 56, heading back to Deptford.

From a historical viewpoint the route was always operated 2/3 by Arriva and 1/3 Stagecoach.
The halfway point of the route is near Bardon Mill.

There's an issue with creating new threads at the moment.
In terms of real news (
), Streetlite 9087 has transferred to Chester-le-Street and is now in use on services 8/78.
Currently on the 309 and every time someone gets on the driver speeds away right after they scan their pass/ticket or get there change with out giving them a chance to walk a metre.... i nearly fell twice when I got on because he gave me my change then as soon as I got my ticket he sped off without giving me a chance to move.... he done it agin in the middle of this post a man got on, and as soon as he got on he sped off again not giving him a chance to move.
670 out of VOR and on 12 now so don’t expect 626 to be at Hexham for long now

Must have been the same driver that's driving this X21. Nearly got launched down the bus when he started moving! He started pulling away as someone was still walking down the stairs

I don't think it was VOR, as it was on the 33 last Thursday.

No. Sounds like drivers using the wrong displays.
