49 is barely half full during the day, the only time it gets full is when the school's start and finish.
X66 could probably do with deckers, but I don't think they'd get under the bridge

Hence why I said that’s not very high

Only 14 B9s to cover PVR of 17? Also bit off a downgrade as B9s only have wifi and NSA

That’s ashame , unless service 20 scales back to run every 15 minutes with extra capacity for passengers, there’s been a few services that have been downgraded in the past (wasn’t service 35/36 got downgraded over time?).

Yes it was from mercs to L94, however mercs were used to standardise and upgrade other services. Cant see frequency or the buses being reduced or downgraded. Most likely the X1 B9s will be used to withdraw older vehicles or become spares for other DD services

Well with 5420 being one of the Streetlites to go to Riverside from Deptford I would say 5409 to 5419 will be in line to join it once new vehicles arrive for the Red Kite.

Which single deck services at Riverside have a combined PVR of 12?

With regards to the rumour of the Red Arrows B9's going on the 20, 14 making up a PVR of 17, you'd have another 4 spare B9's if the Red Kite gets new buses so there is 18 B9's to cover a pvr of 17.

Whatever they end up on, the engine management will need looking at.
I've commented more than once about the power (or lack of) at key times and it was mentioned once something had been done to them, which limits their performance.

I had an Omnidekka once and it left the B9's standing on the A182 slip roads.

Still a downgrade though....

Not a PVR of 12 but with 14x StreetLites available:
- 8x CityLink 58
- 5x Blaydon Racers
- 1x spare

Can’t see the mercs being taken off the 12s. There’s also the other 2 ex PB streetlites at riverside

Wouldn’t the streetlites be replacing the scanias, im sure it was mentioned that a lot of the scanias will be withdrawn before this year ends?

Not if the B9's are refurbished.

Doubt we'll see the Red Arrows B9s refurbished, when Saltmeadows have re-trimmed a few already.

Again, looks smart apart from the replacement panel look on the front. I don't get why they think having a random blue panel looks good, its not only inconsistent between different models of bus, but its curvy and just doesn't go with the very straight angular lines on the rest of the livery.

The open top president and the first streetlite in the new corporate livery look so much smarter & more professional with not having the blue panel up front.

Well Versas of the 58 would be the most logical choice for the Loop which would in turn replace the Scanias. Also, the Blaydon Racer Mercs would also help withdraw Scanias as well as the Connections 4 Mercs replacing Scanias on the 97/97A.

My god that thing is hideous! Was the person who decided to paint the front blue blind?

Also, when are the NSAs coming back to the X21? I miss being reminded every 30 seconds what bus I'm on

When's the X20 getting the next stop announcements updated it keeps saying to South Shields and Prince Bishops which isn't much of a problem

There's been an issue with the server which means the update hasn't worked. Hanover investigating.
