Debranded a few months ago - never made sense why there was 9 branded Enviros for a PVR of 8. 1328 is now technically Durham's Frequenta spare for both the 49/49a and 64 but seems to end up on anything and everything (passed in in Deaf Hill yesterday on a 57a while I was on an X22).

Yes, branding was removed from this one to allow greater flexibility with allocations especially as one more was 64 branded than what was required (9 branded for PVR of 8). 1533 also lost it's 6 branding to allow greater flexibility with allocations with 7539 losing 24 branding for the same reason.

Stockton's Pulsars are supposedly next in line for refurbishment - which is why 1417 has returned from Gardeners still in original livery but with the front end back to its original cream state (rather than the mixed original/interurban scheme).

Since the frequent branding is now defunct are there plans to refurb all the buses branded with it

Presumably that tells us Gardiners are not doing the refurbishments hence they'll have just repaired the front end (internally and externally)

I think Frequenta branding had already been dropped, or was about to be, when the 15s received the branding. Certainly the new livery had arrived. So don't think they'll be in a rush to repaint them again. There's other stuff not been done in ten years.

Likely or Read Commercials is another one that NE & Yorkshire use heavily.

Maybe read what has already been put - 1417 has returned from Gardeners and remains in its Original livery with the Interurban skirt, with the front end once again fully in original cream livery, rather than the half original/half Interurban scheme it carried following repairs last year.

Why does the 52 finish earlier than the 53,the 53 runs all the way til 11pm going to shields,midnight going the otherway(last journey runs to Killingworth only),i'd say theres probably more purpose having the 52 run til midnight cosidering it serves Newcastle,not alot to do in shields after the shops close,pretty backwards in my opinion

The 52 is more about connecting places to the Freeman, there's not much demand for that past 8pm basically. The rest the route is duplicated by faster buses. Killingworth: 54 / Stagecoach Quorum / Burradon: X7 / X8Dudley: 43Cramlington: 43 / X10 / X11Longbenton: 55Killingworth - Cramlington: 42/53
