The contracts gained are likely the ones that Stagecarriage used to operate...

They have indeed won some of the Prior College network, 5 routes I understand... Coatham are doing the rest.

I believe they'll be released by buses transferred north following the E200s entering service at Stockton. All getting a bit tight now to get everything in place ready for start on 3rd September!

Great North Run buses
Are you planning to join or watch The Great North Run on 8 September 2019?

Get to the event quickly with Stagecoach’s Great North Run buses. The 553 bus services run every few minutes between the start and finish line. The 552 service runs between the finish line and South Shields Ferry.

So could that mean the E200MMCs should start arriving this week then? Looks like there won't be as many ALX300s withdrawn as first though.

It's looking likely only the 2003 ALX300s will be withdrawn, and maybe one or two 2004 versions...

So more undersized buses replacing deckers in Newcastle. Getting a little silly, now.

Isn’t it. Hopefully just temporary until they source either ALX400s or E400s from somewhere else.

They could always use the Seasider ALX400s which are serviceable, and if it's a warm day I'm sure people would appreciate them being on.

Are E400 at Stockton going to be working on school runs and normalservice like they over double deckers use to do or is it school runs only.

Due soon, today was the original scheduled delivery start date. None have landed so far so.

I believe one school board will do some 12s during the day. The other two are standalone school ones currently.

They'll probably end up on all sorts like the Macmillan days, especially if the fourth decker is sat spare.

Thanks for info mate

Which boards will the decker be on the 12?
