The red looks the most Stagecoach to me. Turquoise is too Arriva for a Stagecoach bus. I like the navy blue and think it would be complimentary with the blue and grey interior of the new buses. Are only the new buses going to wear the new livery?
I like red to you are right it more stagecoach
12083 has got the blue fabric on the seats,is this recent,or was it done at the same time as 12072

Was done around the same time, June last year post repaint.
Lots of the Tees Flex Sprinters outside at the depot today.
Legal lettering and fleetnumbers now carried by most of them and at least 44015 has been seen out and about on training duties.
18/18A diverting over the Northern Spire bridge from the 27th January to 2nd Feb... opportunity for some pics of an in service bus crossing the bridge! (although only 1 an hour!)

Queen Alexandra Bridge closure (n/bound & s/bound) for inspection work - Mon 27 Jan to Sun 2 Feb affecting 18/18A
14 Jan 2020 to 05 Feb 2020
We have been informed by Sunderland City Council and Nexus that between Monday 27 January and Sunday 2 February 2020, the Queen Alexandra Bridge (northbound and southbound) will be closed to all traffic whilst bridge inspection work takes place.

During the closure, services will divert as follows:

Services 18/18A towards Southwick/Seaburn - Will travel via Pallion Road to the Pallion New Road junction as normal before diverting non-stop via Cowies Way, the Northern Spire Bridge and Wessington Way, re-joining the regular route at the north end of the Queen Alexandra Bridge.
Service 18/18A towards Pallion/Grindon – will follow the same non-stop route in reverse (Camden Street Gyratory, Wessington Way, the Northern Spire Bridge and Cowies Way, re-joining the normal route at Pallion Road).
Stops along Pallion New Road will not be observed in either direction.

Stagecoach would like to apologise for any inconvenience, delays or disruptions these works may cause and thank customers for their patience and understanding.
Never liked the stripes. I like the mint that's appeared in some places but the red is boring. Too much like London. But yes the training bus livery is better than any (and that applies to Arriva as well!).

I love the driver training bus livery, and I don't know why Stagecoach doesn't use that livery for the whole fleet! Yes, the red is too London style, but the mint colour looks a little bit too Arriva, but it fresh and stylish. Personally I like the navy blue livery design. A bright orange and royal blue livery, similar to Go North East's X84/X85 would be nice, but with the new interior royal blue and grey would be more appropriate.
I do like the stripes allway have don't like want is now.

Yes it probably is a bit too Arriva, especially with all the different liveries Arriva have on the go, could get confusing!
Are new livery is sill going have orange and red and blue on them.
27161 has returned this week, still in the old livery.
I think 11298 could be branded in the old stripes livery given it's been 20 years since the beachball livery was introduced, would be nice bring it back as a heritage livery on a handful of vehicles within the fleet.

Was some suggestion on another group that a further example has been delivered in white - so the theory that suggests it relates to the new Stagecoach fleet livery is more probable.

According to bus times South Shields ADL E200 37306 is currently at Sunderland Depot, presumably there for repaint?

I read somewhere that the new livery may start being rolled out from next month?
19384 appears to have landed at Stockton according to Bus Times - and was on Prior service 6 this afternoon.
Sunderland ADL E300 27726 has been debranded and repainted. 27727 & 27731 are the only ones remaining in the "get there with E's" branding (though that tagline was removed from all a while back).

Saw 19384 parked in the yard at Stockton around 12pm (Monday 20th) - still carried Busways legals
19381 has joined 19380 at Slatyford. It's on the 10 today
Is 19384 for school and college work at Stockton.

I would love to see the stripes livery make a comeback on the new Stagecoach buses.
No thanks
What time is the last bus to West Newcastle from the City Centre, Monday-Friday and Saturday?
Number 39 at 23:26 from Blackett Street.
I like the stripes always have done always will.

Why did Stagecoach get rid of the stripes? They still look modern and stylish today, especially on the new style buses!
I don't know why they got rid of the stripes in first place the stripes made bus look cleaner to me that the livery now I have never liked it at all.
Are the Walkergate NSAs currently activated for all services or just the 39/40? The new buses have now been on the 1, 12 and 62 despite mostly being allocated to 39/40. I believe we are going to see the new livery next month? Are only the new buses going to wear the new livery?
I think all of the stagecoach buses will get new livery on them
