North East Buses

Pictured yesterday leaving Haymarket (presumably on staff shuttles) is Dawson Rentals' ADL Enviro200MMC YX18 KNM.

There is three of them, believe the others are YX18KNN and YX70OKS. Not sure where they’re all to be allocated though

Does anyone know of all 3 are at Jesmond

One of them (KNN), is at Redcar. Was on the 62 yesterday.

It was waiting at the roundabout when I drove past it.

Supposedly it has the ticket machine from the Tiger Solo, 354 I think it is? Based on the other two examples at Jesmond, I would assume it has the fleet number 0071.

The two at Jesmond are 0070 / YX70 OKS and 0072 / YX18 KNM, both of which were on 43 dupes this afternoon.

You will likely struggle to find them on BusTimes as they're seemingly only doing duplicate journeys which don't track.

One of them was in New York this morning, waiting to operate 54S towards Newcastle.

Redcar's one certainly duplicates a 62 in the morning will be roughly 0745 from New Marske for Bydales School, and runs all the way to Middlesbrough as I often pass it in Dormanstown about 0815.

This was early afternoon. 
Starting to wonder if there was a breakdown and it was covering. 
It gave way to me at the roundabout and then followed me. Definitely nowt in front or behind.

Redcar also run a duplicate trip on the 62 on an afternoon - the 1440 from Marske.

Here hoping they become more of a perminate fixture for arriva north east

Redcar have 0071 out today in normal service on X3/X3a/64/64a - left Middlesbrough for Grangetown at 0920 15 minutes late on the 0905 64a.
