Tuesday 8th December: 7533 covering for 1800 which broke down while operating service 57
Wednesday 9th December: 7543 on evening 57A covering for 2813 which broke down while on 57A
Thursday 10th December: 1580 allocated all day on 57/57A in place of a solo
Friday 11th December : 1579 allocated all day on 57/57A in place of 2809 releasing 2813 to cover 1801. Later that day 2813 got replaced by 7553 for unknown reasons
Sunday 13th December: 1580 was allocated mid journey in place of 2813
Today 7510 was allocated in place of 2813 but 7510 had broke down meaning 7541 replaced it on 57/57A

As far as I know at least one of the Solos is having recurring issues, and the MPDs are starting to show their age (and their hammerings on the 518 shorts early in their lives). Doesn't help that 2 out of 3 Solos at the depot have to be out all day every day, as the MPDs don't meet evening 57A contract spec.

While of course ANE need new minibuses, I think the issue is more apparent at Ashington because they only have 5 for a minibus PVR of 4, so unlike Blyth/Jesmond if they have more than one off the road the only option is a big bus.

There are obviously reasons other than issues with the minibuses though. At the moment, looking at the Ashington fleet you 6 buses which are primarily allocated to the 35 (1407, 7445/6/84/86 and 7510). If the Sapphire/MAX allocation goes to plan then in theory you have at least one Streetlite spare and it's better to put one of those out on the 57 cycle than a minibus to aid with social distancing etc.
7411-2 seemed to have replaced a late running 1503 which replaced 2821 after that broke down at Blyth bus station whilst waiting time to depart on the 07:48 to Morpeth.

4810 on the x66/7 cycle
4659 on the 57/57A which replaced 7515 which was required by engineers I believe
For all those that’s interested The X21/X22 Darlington/Middlesbrough - Peterlee is all pulsar operated today:

Don’t think this has ever been done before

Also this morning MAX Scania Omnicity 4645 has re-entered service after its accident on the 5th December

Was in an RTC with a car on Victoria Road, Darlington
Scania Omnicity 4645 is currently on the 15:30 service X21 to Peterlee from Darlington

Scania Omnicity 4657 is current on a 2/2A diagram (which includes short 2A journeys from Amazon to Town)
1566 on the 62
Street lite on x93
Anyone know what is tracking as Ashington spare? Usually on the 35.

Thanks

Anyone know what the third X21 was yesterday with 4805, 7518? It was tracking as 1515 but that was on the 7 (and correctly tracking).
Meanwhile 7493 on the 57A etc was tracking as 1483 which was also tracking as itself on X12.

Is 1431 being used at Durham? Hasn't tracked since it left Redcar.
Got to the bottom of that anyway.
4807 has been tracking as 1515, 1609 has been tracking as 4807. 1404 while Darlington had it briefly yesterday was tracking as 4647.
Something else was tracking as 4647 30th Dec (X21), 31st Dec (13B) and 4th Jan (X66/7).

It’s a solo that’s tracking as 4647, caught me by surprise when I seen it the other day on the X21

Darlington we’re covering a run for Stockton on the X66/X67, but think they have it back now

1923 and 1924 both been on the late X66 boards that Stockton do tonight
MAX Scania Omnicity 4658 has just done the 21:15 service 7 to Durham, and also the 22:25 service 7 to Darlington
To add to the confusion when it returned to Stockton 1404 was tracking as 1405, as was its twin 1405!
