Not sure what having a gastric band fitted has to do with it.

Probably not to be read over dinner.

He’s lost 15 stone though so can’t be all that bad (my eyes rolled so hard at that irrelevant comment by the defence hat it hurt)
Ive just followed the Versa up Bensham Bank (not intentionally)

You would imagine there to be a vast loss of work, contract, private etc, as the bus company has been named in that much publicity

Is it not time Mr Annis Snr called it a day. He has had almost 50 years of a good business (est 1973) but the last couple of years has not been good for business, hence why not more than 50 years of good business.
A Line was dissolved as a business in 2018.

Who did they trade as? Nothing on companies house aside the dissolved business for their address from the website and none of the Annis family have active registrations

Looks like a partnership trading as Aline Coaches, according to the DVSA - https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.s...nce/155569
Is A-Line coming back to contracts.

Bus Times is now showing 933 Winlaton - Team Valley.

Id have thought they may have just called it a day last year.

No, A-Line's operations have seen been transferred to L&G Travel as stated on their website:

After nearly 52 years of proudly serving the North East, the A-line Coaches operation has now been transferred to L&G (NE) Group Ltd.

This marks the end of an incredible journey for our family-run business. From our very first coach to our final service, it's been an honour to transport generations of passengers across the region and beyond.

From Les and David Annis, we want to say a sincere and heartfelt thank you to all our loyal customers over the years — whether you travelled with us on private hire journeys, school runs, day trips, or on our regular Nexus services, your support has meant the world to us.

We also want to thank every member of our team — past and present — who helped shape A-line into the company it became. Many of you have gone on to new opportunities, and we’re proud of the part you’ve played in our story.

Like any business, we’ve had our highs and lows, but through it all, it’s the people — our customers, our staff, and our community — who made it worthwhile.

For customers with existing bookings, please rest assured these have been transferred to L&G (NE) Group Ltd, who will continue to provide transport with the same care and professionalism. You can still contact them using our familiar number: 0191 495 2424 or by emailing sales@lggrouptravel.com.

Thank you once again for over five decades of trust and support.

With gratitude,
Les & David Annis
