I'm still waiting on a rare working on the 42A. Last month. Services 42 41 11 and 19 all had a rare working at least more than once. Still waiting on a rare workings on the 42A. Last one was December 15th. Optare Solo SR 633 broke down at Dinnington. A Scania OmniCity replaced it. Then that got replaced by another one at Wallsend. Then that finshed at Kingston Park and 633 took back over

During the first lockdown there were quite a few rare workings on the 42/42A when Riverside were operating the service.
Aye. Was really happy to see rare workings on then. Especially the E200MMC. That blew my mind
So yesterday and today. At least the 19 has had Scania CN230UB OmniCity on. Is this for a reason like are the 19 getting longer buses back
3 Scania CN230UB OmniCity on the 19 again. Wonder why. 3 days in a row now

5294/8332 & 8333 were both VOR as were signed off for issues which had not been fixed by the engineers, not the first time I have heard this being said in the past few weeks.

Seems to be a hell of a lot of deckers on the 39s this week

There was an ex-London Gemini on there yesterday too.

It was 3963 yesterday, one of the native Volvo B7/Geminis, not one of the ex-London dual-door variety.

That's the correct allocation during the current limited timetables - the driver has no facilities to use at Sainsbury's currently so a compromise (whilst the buses are surplus anyway) is for them to have a bus with high-back seats and tables to use during their break.

What facilities were on offer to the drivers at Sainsburys?

I'd imagine having use of a fancy bus would be nicer anyway

I believe there is a cafe within the store at Team Valley.
Be more peaceful inside the bus rather then dealing with a noisy cafe.

Ah, yes there is. It's not a very nice cafe mind, even by Sainsbury's standards. I went in once and it was absolutely rotten.

I'd definitely pick sitting in the bus over going in there!
Cheers Dan. I'm used to seeing those old red Double decker's on that service.
