5500 looks to have entered on the RVI Freeman Hospital Shuttle today
I'm wondering if 5500 and 5499(When it enters service) will have a branding on it or just left as it is
Just reading on the "Go North East buses" page, that 5499 has a seat retrim. Seems daft when its only going to be used on the "H" shuttle, unless its moving to another service with 5500?

Can't see those shuttles lasting much longer , even though cases are up almost 50%. Given the surprising quality of the E10s, more CB12s would be well advised..

They are for the 'H' shuttle between the RVI and Freeman Hospital in Newcastle - not any of the Nightingale Shuttles.

They don't need buses of that size for the staff shuttles, the two Mercedes 516 at Deptford would be better, and being silver they can be easily vinyled up for the NHS if this is to remain a permanent working/contract
Wasn't the longer buses for Social Distancing anyway. The same with 19. That was meant to be longer buses for Social distancing

In all the times I've seen the NHS shuttle 2 or 3 is most passengers , the majority were empty.
The 19 is mainly solos again, some of Percy Main's Omnicity's went to Riverside.
Same here tbh. I've never seen the H really busy. Most I've seen is 2
Saw 5499 moving around Riverside yard this evening. Not sure if it carried fleetnumbers while at Saltmeadows, but it has them on the back, at least, now. Maybe its entry into service is imminent.
The seats in this remind me of the old dual purpose ones found in Northumbria buses in the 90s.

Have they changed the seats since they first got them in?

Would you care to elaborate further on that point?
The full stop seems very aggressive there!
What will they be used for? Spares? In 2019 Coropate Livery?
Weren't they meant to be used for the H service but now that's been operated by Scania CN230UB OmniCity

They're probably just what was either laying around the depot, or what they could get in cheap!

Believe they came out of a Stagecoach E300 that was scrapped.
