So long as operators need the vehicles, and they're not dreadful, nobody is going to say anything. It'd be extra money spent with no redeeming features, especially in a market where short notice PVR increase/high VOR rates can demand 6 wheels on the road at a moments notice.

Aye, but Ensign don't make them. For Wright, in my mind anyway, I'd be wanting to make sure demo/loan vehicles were well presented to show that they, at the very least, cared about it. Now I'm not saying a dodgy panel on a loan vehicle is the end of the world, just that, haway - why *not* fix it properly?

Not sure how all of this has stemmed from a tree deflector? That vehicle was probably required at a moment notice. The fact Wright were able to supply must be good, no?
It's on the 50, today.

And the fact the damage was sustained whilst in service at Brighton & Hove, the onus was on them to fix it.

I mean it was more the panel next to the door. It's nit-picky, but I just don't think its a fantastic impression.

Poor from them then. Can only assume they're experiencing a paint shortage.

I'm willing to bet GNE has something to do with that!
So how did a Wright demo vehicle end up with GNE's interior spec? I thought it would have been a bit more generic than having 'go' plastered all over the seats
Was used as a seed vehicle by Wright in the hope of getting Streetdeck orders from the Go-Ahead group and GNE was the first of the companies to trial it.
9119 looks to have transferred to CLS

Aye, saw it on the 21.
Not sure if there's anything away for work at the moment - but there seemed to be a few branded vehicles missing today.

With the usual caveat that Bustimes data isn't 100% accurate:

6317 spent 2 months off the road between December and March
6321 has been off for the last week
6323 has been off since the end of March
6325 spent around 3 weeks off end of March to April.

Various others look to have had shorter (1 week or so) spells off the road too, possibly accounts for the increased sightings of Omnidekkas etc on the 21.

Also of note - several of the X1 StreetDecks have had lengthy spells off the road in the past few months too, worrying for 70-plates. 6365 for 3 weeks in March, 6368 for a fortnight this month, 6372 for part of Dec and all of Jan, 6374 for most of March, and 6375 for 2 months between Feb and April.

Aren't the StreetDecks getting warranty work done, hence being given the loan?
If that is the case, not sure if it would include the older examples

Doesn't help that Chester has lost 6301-03 as back ups for the 21 (and X21) so the chances of OmniDekkas turning up on those atm are quite high
This vehicle is now back at Washington depot, currently at Galleries (1230) on X1 to Easington Lane.
