28031 has been involved in a bad RTA this morning on Washington Road in Sunderland.

I think I seen that being towed by Alpha on the Fordley By-Pass (near Annitsford) this afternoon being towed back to Alpha recovery.

Police will generally impound the bus until the investigation is complete.
After a year of being off service, 28031 has now returned to the Wheatsheaf following completion of accident damage repairs at Plaxtons in Anston.

It's being prepared for repaint now.
28031 has now returned to service:

It has been on the E's today. However, it is not yet tracking on Bus Times.
