They have transferred on loan to Consett from Chester-le-Street for the half term week, for use on services 30/31/32.

https://flic.kr/p/2m3Mxgr 6051 is definitely on Smile
May class as 'rare' despite both B9's being allox Riverside, but 6051 dropped on the 10 circuit and 6156 onto the 58's yesterday

Always Green Arrow E200MMCs on the 12 on Sundays. The 97 and 12 interwork on Sundays, I think.

Yea. Sunday set allocated. Unsual as I think this is the only GNE Sunday allocation that's rare
Nope there is some boards on the X5/X15 do runs on the 16A too usually using yellow X-Lines Streetdecks.

Ah. I'm barely in that area on a Sunday. I only know the 12/12A allocate everytime I see it in town
Neither am I, but it doesn't stop me from going on bus times to do a little research.

I think this little snippet constitutes a rare/odd working.

Looking at Bus Times today, it seems that Go North East are operating a new service (999) around the Wakefield area using 6346 (YX70 OHW).

This makes sense actually. As Lothian have recently migrated south of the border, operating around Consett and Stanley, it would be expedient of Go North East to look at Yorkshire to potentially expand their operations.

It was 6377..and I don't know why but it could be what was saw in Dan Graham tweet https://twitter.com/Dan3942/status/14022...03136?s=19

I'm not convinced by your reasoning.

The tweet/video that 'Dan' posted looks like it was shot at night. Now, I may be a pensioner now and my might be old but, looking outside, it is clearly daylight, so it can only presume that it has nothing to do with the tweet posted by 'Dan', whomever that is.

As the service number is 999, perhaps it is a new emergency service operated by Go North East?

I heard Dan loves buses!
Having a look at where 6377 has been to then looking on google maps it points to a place called backstage academy, they specialise in stage sets, lighting e.t.c for big concerts so maybe dans tweet of the flashing bus was 6377 and something is planned for it, the bus could also have been indoors hence why it was dark

I don't know if you've heard of this thing called 'the inside'. It's a relatively new concept so maybe you just haven't come across it yet

I wonder if they're doing a new ad
Don’t get too excited.  999 is used for light running or in this case to cause a bit of mischief
