Aye I seen that again like, mind honestly surprised it's only 1 the way Ashington has been the past few months.

Swapped at Ashington for 7543.
Generally the evening Sapphire allocation is fully MMC, though if this isn't the case early evening then things are swapped around far earlier than today - that said it's possible that a breakdown or another vehicle swap needed to happen with higher importance the last time 7446 was at Ashington. If any of the Volvo's were to stay out all day (which on paper should never happen), 7484 or 7486 would be the more logical options despite their increased age.

All Gemini 2's
The Max Pulsars at Blyth
Believe all the Pulsars at Jesmond
Some Solos at Jesmond, not sure which.
Jesmond Streetlites
Believe all the Enviro 400 (MMC)'s - not 100% sure there.
The X12 Pulsars
There's only the B7TL's and Omnicity's which aren't now if I'm right and most those are stuck on the 35/35A now anyway at Ashington.
MMC's are definitely Euro 6

The more time passes the less attractive the business and the less willing to replace en-masse the prospective suitors.
I doubt it would be sold as a whole.
No doubt GNE would want Ashington though. Fits right in with their strategy including XLines.
Assetwise, they'd have a number of E400 / E400MMCs that could be put to good use either at Ashington, or perhaps elsewhere if they invested in the X14/X15/X18/X20.

Aye definitely seen one of the MMC's managed to get itself on the 57 last night so no doubt just bad allocating again. Agreed on the two old Volvo's rather than the shot ALX 400's which were awful when they were at Jesmond years ago nevermind now. They really should be allocated to easier work rather than Ashington imo.

Aye I knew they were it's the older ones not sure if Ashingtons have been done. I know they were doing the 57 plates at Jesmond though. They'll be done before the LEZ though I guess.
