Is this like the first time a Streetdeck has been to Park Lane for a regularly scheduled service.
(08 Oct 2021, 5:34 pm)Malarkey wrote [ -> ]Seems a few Streetlites have broke down today then on the 78, looks like 5406 replaced 6331 after one round trip.

Haven't long passed an ex Nat Express, parked up in a layby with its hazards on. Still displaying the X10.
Passengers look to have been transferred, but the driver was looking very irate. Might be able to id it on bustimes.

7130 (BX16 CKP)  seems to have broken down somewhere after Dalton Park

Their has been a few for Metro Replacements but other than that I don't think so.

641 is now on the 78 for the evening according to Bus Times

That is why I said "regularly scheduled", and that 641 is from Consett to Castleside.

6305 once did the CLS - Sunderland leg of the 8/78 when in Castles Express livery. May have also happened on occasions late at night when cricket has been on at Chester.
Happened just after the changes

Aye, it was the layby just on the Seaham sliproad, north of Dalton Park.
I didn't want to mention 'breakdown' or owt like it, cos it might have lost a wing mirror or something.

Yes around midday? Not an intentional diagram.

Correct allocation as it does a 56 duplicate to Wrekenton then drops onto the X66.

apparently someone claims that the route triggers a new name at 2 stops only. you would have to ride the whole 50 from Durham to Shields and Back.
apparently its called 'The City Coaster'
there probably lying but no proof of it saying or not saying it so far

It will be in the future. All services are getting branded to leave the corp buses for schools and contracts etc. it won’t be for a long time till this is done tho

Well I'd imagine the 26 will be getting the same brand.

Anything for the 49/12/6 anyone heard?
641 on 71 (probs from Consett as 71 can only been a mini-bus due to the road it goes along after Seaham.)

What’s the situation with A Line doing trips on GNE services?

I’ve been around the region over the last few days and keep seeing the A Line ex-GNE Renown in the afternoon, seems to be generally either on the 27 or on the 10, unless there is more than one?

They cover at least one Riverside duty per day to assist during the current driver shortage, usually around their Nexus contracted services, or after them on an evening.

Maintained specification for the service in the absence of the missing Solo SR though which is the most important thing.

So ur telling me a spare for a **minibus** service is a 67 seater bus.
A question, why is there always loads of school deckers parked in Consett Bus Station during the day, even on Saturdays?

Drivers use them as taxis between the Depot and the Bus Station and sit spare in case of breakdowns.

If it's the first bus available then so be it. It's not as if it happens every day...
