How come they don’t need the ‘Spare Xlines’ vehicles anymore?

It wasn't an X-Line X10 branded one, it was one of the X-Line pool vehicles.
Would guess that's 6337, hasn't been out since the 18th.

Yep its 6337 sadly. should of been 6336 as it would be more reasonable as it has no tables whereas 6337 does. 6336 should of been the one to lose the X-Lines branding cause of the less features

But if it is going into Xlines why is it silver?
Because the rest of them are gold.
It was X-Lines, it's going into Silver.

Could it be for the X85, might be a stretch, but they are putting a larger bus on it.
The X85 uses Solo SRs, do a bit of research man. All the info can be found on bus times.
They will be putting Optare Versas on the route instead of the Solo SR.
I agree with some of the posts that it's probably going into a special livery to celebrate the Queen Platnium jubilee. Not a novelty that we have really had in the North East aside from a gold colour Metro.

The Road Stripes don't like they are in the correct position angle wise and if you look at the stripes above the upper deck window they are both white when one should be black otherwise i'd agree in saying it looks good.

The silver vinyl is metallic and that's why it looks darker at the bottom and light at the top - it is the correct colour.

Never mind the metallic vinyls, I hope you've had a protractor out to measure the angle of those roadstripes!
I think it looks alright, other than the ugly purple patch on the front.
I thought they'd realised that looks awful
