I can see this being trialled on the Tynedale Links services, since they're exactly the kind of routes it's designed for.
i hope it doesn't get any orders

Why? You haven't even tried it yet.
Hopefully Ilesbus sorts their number plates out because the spacing is illegal on it. Fairly sure it's the driver who gets action taken against them if pulled for it...
Perfect for a DRT service.
Plenty of cash available for that from central government pots

I think some of Stagecoach's gas buses, specifically the 14 reg ones, also have incorrectly spaced numberplates like that (

Though I'd argue that this spacing doesn't seem too crazy, as some people may format the reg as RV22DMY without the space, while others may format it as RV22 DMY (with the space), while a few may space it as RV 22 DMY or something like that.
On the other hand, I've seen several vehicles with Northern Irish registrations that aren't even in the right font, and I'm sure they aren't exempt from the DVLA regulations...?

DRT's are an incredible success don't you know? Roger French says so... must be true then?! [emoji2369] Saw a Tees Flex in Guisborough last week and it was absolutely heaving... THREE yes, THREE whole passengers on one bus at the same time!!! Must be a new record?
As far as service buses go, I think we will begin to see more of these types of smaller van type buses such as these and the offerings from Mellor rather than the likes of E200s and Solo's at least in some places.
I like the look of it from the outside but the seats seem incredibly close together. Doesn’t look at all comfortable.

Yes, I can't even suggest that such tight seating is only comfortable for short legged women because I am a short legged woman. I can't even cope with your typical E200 or MPD (of old). Add in a full shopping bag or 4 and. It's pretty cramped.
Looks horrific like all breadvans, cheap and nasty like the Mellors. Operators should try and avoid them as they're not attractive to ride at all. I know I say usbs etc don't mean much but there's a limit.
They belong on hospital shuttle services or taxi mini buses.

I get the impression this Iveco has been designed to meet contract specifications rather than with the passenger in mind.

It’s going to be based at Hexham going by the photo location

I mean, it looks awful.
Hopefully if some get ordered, the order ends up being transferred to a different company.

So my assumption was right, I guess?

I mean, I've seen more visually appealing buses of this size, but at least it doesn't look like this thing...

I personally quite like the look of the front end of Iveco's vans

I think all the writing etc on the sides doesnt help the overall appearance - in a decent livery I think it could look quite smart

Yeah maybe, but not for a public service bus, interior looks awful, seats look awful - Can anyone do a mock up of it in Tynedale Links/GNE 2019 Livery?

Nobody round these parts is sad enough to spend 20 minutes doing a shoddy mockup
Going off the interior design on the manufactures website. It looks like there’ll be a lot of repetitive twisting for the driver to issue tickets and give out change.
I suppose we’ll have to see what it’s like from a drivers perspective as well.

Looks like you put a bit more effort in than I did though. What with the logos, and even the subtle blur.
Looks like you used the Pen tool rather than old faithful Quick Selection for selecting?
They need to stop getting white demo vehicles in, it makes it so much harder to Photoshop! Primer grey would be quite a nice colour.

Nice work! It suits that shade of yellow really well!
This bus is now in service on the 13:05 74.
