I wonder if the 58 will get the new electric buses and the 57 could become the new East Rider now that 6154 has been repainted in fleet livery.

I'm pretty sure 6154 is still in East Rider...the discussion in the other thread relates to when it was repainted into fleet livery after being on Toon Link.

Yes as Peter says 6154 was in Corp livery previously, now EG Rider. Sorry for any confusion.

Will the extra B9TL not likely come from the 47 as the 47 will either receive B5TLs or StreetDecks

Nope I don't believe any PVR allocation changes has been confirmed.
The only thing we know coming from these changes is certain route changes, proposed by DCC & Nexus.

the 47/47A will not need new vehicles. the 47 is going another way round Blackhill to cover the loss of the X46 in the area.

51 - 99 subtract 50 to get the year

The first lot is always March to September, the second one is September to March the year after.

Surprised there's not lots of people winging about London castoffs though like they do every time Arriva get them mind considering they're older than the most the stuff they get and should be withdrawn in 3 years on paper and no doubt won't have a full refurb either.

The 47 has only just hand vehicles branded, I can’t see them being taken off - it would be a bad look in current climate of cuts to the paint the 6 B9s again that have only just been painted.
Where are these spare 8 StreetDecks coming from? If there’s spare deckers/xlines spec vehicles, will at least 2 of those not go to the X1? PVR is 14 but currently only 12 branded vehicles. Again X21 has only 7 branded for a PVR 9 and at least these would only need a partial repaint too.

I'm sure they could squeeze some more money out of the paint department budget. It's seemingly like a bottomless pit!

Refurb the ex-Castles Express ones, plus an Angel (isn't the 21's PVR set to go down)?
(by refurb I just mean retrim the seats, I think they're otherwise up to spec)
Well if the E400MMCs stay at Consett, they'll cover the X30/X31, X45/X71/X72 leaving 2x spare.
The 8x StreetDecks will then no longer be required for any XLines work out of Consett as such. Therefore given their high spec inside:
- 6356-63 + 6333 - X21
- 6308-13 - 47
- 6314, 6334, 6335 - Riverside spares for 21/X21
- 6331-32 - Washington spares
- 6377 - X1 (joining 6364-76)
Or......if the X30/X31 go standalone with evening & Sunday X30/X72 journeys ran by Riverside interworking with the 6 & 12:
- 6338-40 - X30/X31
- 6341-42 - Consett spares
- 6343-51 - X21
- 6356-63 + 6333 - X45/X71/X72
- 6331-32 - Washington spare
- 6377 - X1
- 6308-13 - 47

If the 47 is to get a change in vehicle allocation I hope to god they ditch the old fashioned colours and long name and let it go Corporate.

I'd suggest just waiting to see what actually happens. Who's to say that any of the proposed changes for Consett will go ahead?
I do think there is a lot of jumping a head, personally I don't think we will see any reduction into the X45/46 service.

Exactly. the changes were only suggested. not final. I can see the X46 possibly making its stay but defo not the X70, is a nice route but I dont think many do get on it for all the times i have been on it
I think the X70 will stay but will be partially funded using another method.
