Giving the frequency of some Stagecoach Newcastle services, they just tend to follow each other anyway.

The air con on both 7128 and 7132 is spot on and nice and cool provided that it's set correctly. There are also 2 sunroofs that can be opened and let a fair amount of air in.

However the air con on 7157 (allocated today I believe) is a different matter....

Also Stagecoach have a relatively standardised fleet.

Does that happen very often, though?  I'd have thought that all of the passengers that were on the journey going would be the same ones on the journey coming back. Or is it actually common for the x11 to be used just one way?

7128 is still in Seasider Livery, I wonder whether GNE will continue the X11 next year or not, as I assume it would have been debranded like the spare Prince Bishop Liveried Buses.
I wonder if the fact GNE and EY are now separate will make it more difficult

The X61 lasted precisely one year of his tenure at Arriva.....

It's still Go Ahead, so it's not like they're that separate.
I was told today (and I've seen the email) that GNE have handed DCC their notice for the 4274A/B contract and that the coaches are going..... Contract is due to run until Christmas then from January I presume it will be another operator. GNE technically have the contracts until 2024 0r 2025.

Have the B9 Levantes that got painted been used recently?

I think GNE only have 3 coaches, the Voyager, X11 Liveried One & a white one.
According to a Facebook post, East Yorkshire Caetano Levante A20 EYC has been brought up for to operate the X11 this year, wonder if it lasts the whole of the summer this year and which depot gets to operate it, it needs properly advertising this year with the timetables actually on the app unlike last year when it only said it was running on Saturday and Sundays, no wonder people were not really using the service, will be great to see it back if this is true

It might be due to what Dan mentioned that NX want more services faster than new buses can be bought

Thought it was too good to be true ha ha ha
I saw the post on faceache about the EYMS coach being up here and did note a comment that was posted with the intent to mislead those who take everything as gospel, obviously their little joke worked.
A20 EYC is definitely here - it's currently parked up in Riverside depot alongside another NatEx Levante and 7157.
