North East Buses

There is a registration on Companies House for a Go North East Buses with Transdev having significant control. Does anyone have any further information on this?

The bit that jumped out, was the 'buses' bit in the company name.

Thank you for that link its interesting in showing the original registered office was Go-Ahead, 41 -51 Grey Street, Newcastle.

I'd be more interested in people linked to this: Christopher McWalter, who whilst born in 2002, is a director of a number of companies including Stagecoach, Megabus, Stagecoast(?), ADL, Wrightbus and EYMS...a number of which effective only recently?!

Hmmmm looking at the profile of the single 'officer' on companies house is interesting. 80 appointments, and most if not all have been made very recently. A troll perhaps? Noted a few spelling mistakes in the company names as well.

It's a very bored troll (or perhaps a fantasist!)

They are also the sole director of Waterloo Road and a number of creatively mispelt transport businesses and Meta (trading as Metas) which suggestes he's Facebooks parent company

It's spoof, Burnley Bus company brand, legal name is Burnley & Pendle Travel Limited,

Yeah that all seems very fishy.

I was surprised by Waterloo Road school - isn't that a TV show? When it got to "Stagecoach South Waless"[sic] (there's another one: "Stagecoach South Wale"[sic] - do Stagecoach even run in South Wales? I thought it was mostly First), I thought 'something doesn't add up here'. Surely whoever it is must be raising a few eyebrows in Company's House/HMRC, given they claim to be a director of all (or almost all) of Stagecoach, as well as most of Go-Ahead (including the group as a whole), a few schools and GTR. That's one hell of a portfolio.

All appointments made on he same day in June.

It was £12 a go to register (unless he's registering them as charities)

Nothing illegal just a bit odd - though I note some of the links have been amended by HMRC as they link back to the actual companies and not this guy.

I would guess it's someone with a lot of spare time and cash and likely on a spectrum

100% is breaking the law mind. You're not allowed to put false information on Companies House and the addresses he's putting there he has no connection to not to mention the trademark issues with Go North East etc.

Once the businesses based at those actual addresses start getting post demanding why they haven’t filed any accounts etc it’ll all come crashing down

I have done a bit more digging and it does appear that Christopher is neurodivergent, which may explain the very lax punishment for the previous serious offence.
