New platform 'open for business'
Wonder when the northern fast services will start to stop?
Northern's "fast" trains have been stopping at Hartlepool since Monday 3rd June 2024.

Specific to all stations and a huge exercise in futuility imo, Hartlepool is out sole representative on the list.

I imagine it's on, because there's relatively few trains stop there vs other stations of a similar size in the region.
Other than the Grand Central, the only other regular service that seems to be cancelled is the fast Newcastle to Middlesbrough service.
Both services stop at Sunderland, but I'm guessing that's not on the list purely because the Metro somehow balances it out.
