Just on the off chance does anyone have a link to last year's bus services on boxing day. Trying to work out what buses ran from Cramlington because I've been asked to work Boxing day shift at St James
Many Thanks in advance

Where are you going to from Cramlington? Newcastle? The 43 and X10 ran from Cramlington last year, to Newcastle and Blyth.

Last year the first bus from Cramlington was a 43 at 08:43. The last bus was an X10 from Newcastle at 18:45.

Me? I'm not sure if you're being serious or sarcastic?
This forum is full of a lot of morons unfortunately, but it's not all bad. Reluctant to contribute, but I'm a transport enthusiast and I'd like to help and take part in discussions!

Well, that being the case, thank you. Just reading and not contributing has been interesting. Plenty going on!
Clicky here-
That's the document from last year, the 43 was missing though.
I've heard today not sure if it's true but I'm told the 308 has been registered to Stagecoach on boxing day. Not sure if fully true as haven't seen anyone post owt

Is it just the 308 at the moment that has came back. No 43/306/X10/X21/X18

The 308 is a Nexus tender.
The 43, X10, X18 and X21 are all Northumberland County Council tenders which have not yet been awarded.

What about the 306 tender. Or is that part of the 308

It is likely to be a 307 this year.

Why the 306 always runs on boxing day. Generally hope the 306 runs
This might have been explained before and sorry if i going to make someone repeat them selves but why are nexus "paying" for a bus on boxing day that leaves the area it serves ( tyne and wear)? Surely it should be turned around at WBCP or should be paid 50/50 with northumberland county council/ Same goes for the 43 ect shourely nexus should be putting money into theat?

Wouldn't be surprised if they run the whole lot, other than independents there's not really anyone else to run them. Don't believe Arriva bother on Boxing Day and GNE can't.

Northumberland County Council usually makes pro-rata payments to Nexus and Scottish Borders Council where their secured services enter and provide services within the county.

Wouldn't shock me the independent gain a few this boxing day. Stagecoach have to put in with the others. I've been told the 37 has a Killingworth board put in so more than likely that's running as far as Killingworth on boxing day instead of Cramlington.
Phoenix if anything will probably get the X21 again. Be surprised if Weardale or Stanley Travel put in for some as well. Can't see Go North East putting owt in

makes sence cheers!
Unusual not to here more boxing day services currently bar the 308 we know. Stagecoach will probably put out the usual services and Arriva have confirmed there not running anything on boxing day

Not that unusual considering one major company currently doesn't even know what drivers it will have on boxing day.

Or if it'll have any drivers at all by boxing day.
Gne boxing day as of currently. Seems Durham County Council ain't paying for GNE to run into Durham on boxing day
