This has been confirmed as cancelled this year due to the Howlands Park & Ride site now open on Sundays for Park & Ride services to and from Durham City Centre.
North East Bus Preservation Trust confirmed it on their facebook page tonight.

But, Howlands Park & Ride
isn't open/in operation on Sundays, certainly at the moment at least, Belmont and Sniperley are however.

Must have been changed now. It's possible that they decided to make Howlands open on a Sunday
I wonder if they're opening on that Sunday for other reasons. Open days, perhaps?
Looks like it may be back on as NEBPT have deleted their post on facebook.
