They're needing a new home.
Can anyone send this another way as I'm not on Facebook, thanks

As of yesterday new heads of terms were signed for our home however this was not signed by NNRG.
Behind our backs Esh estates have found people who could pay outright for the building leaving us without a home. With a heavy heart we have to announce we have until December to pack everything and leave Philadelphia one last time.
As you can imagine this time is very stressful as we need to find a home for our fleet so if anyone knows anywhere suitable please let us know.

Horrible news. I always enjoyed visiting the NNRG at Philadelphia. I hope they find a new home.

Not sure what is happening to the current site, but with all of the redevelopment around there, it was never likely Esh wanted a load of buses parked up.
Think I said as much a few years back.
A shame. Hopefully the group find an alternative and all of their efforts with the restoration, can be rewarded elsewhere.

And not so long after the loss of THV, and the remaining buses being spread out across the region...
NEBPT reported a while ago that they also had accommodation challenges, as Wardley needed a new roof. I think that's what led to the sale of a few of their buses?
Ideally what is needed is some joint working, actually work towards some kind of museum and heritage centre, but in the absence of that, I'd suggest that the best bet is to map out all the farms within a radius and start making contact.

What has Stephenson or Tanfield got to offer or could a bus or two go to Beamish as static display in the 1950s area
I do know there is a double deck atlantean stored at the Caledonian depot although it is outside but even if it short term

I think ultimately NNRG, NEBPT and THV need to come together and work in partnership to preserve our local preservation scene here in the North East creating a Museum/Heritage Centre as Adrian has suggested.
I do think in the short term Beamish Museum is an excellent shout as they could benefit from having Low Floor Buses operating the Museum Shuttles as I noticed those who were Elderly/Disabled struggled with the older vehicles in use. I think it would massively improve the accessibility aspect for those individuals visiting Beamish in turn potentially boosting visitor numbers.

Unlikely. Given the egos and general petulance of some of the people involved in those groups, I doubt Beamish would have much time for them on a long-term basis.

The biggest problem with Beamish is they're too new. Having a 80's/90's/00's bus running around in a 50's village wouldn't really work. Don't know where I read but they've been turned before for that reason.
They might aswell just get some brand new buses instead, they're more interesting than any 'modern' bus, especially a Pulsar - sorry Solar or Commander - sorry Renown (general publics view).
