Yourbus are operating an allover white vehicle on the Cathedral/Station service in Durham today - rather than the Electric Solo.
Not sure if this has become a regular thing.
Didn't catch the vehicle model, but it was one of the newer type Optare/Wright style buses (I was waiting at the roundabout into North Road when it was on the opposite side heading towards the station).
As vague as ever!

It was on Vosa the other day:
There got the registration for the Monday to Saturday service.
Yourbus have been operating the Durham Cathedral bus for over a year now. They had cancelled it but then another registration appeared the other day to continue the service.
Scarlet Band have recently started operating the Sunday version.

Aye, thats the one - just caught a passing glimpse of it the other day.
I was at Durham Station this morning, but no sign of it
We may have an answer to why they have this StreetLite - former back-up Solo SE 1604 (YJ60 KFP) is currently parked in the yard of Dawsonrentals in Rotherham.
Yourbus have cancelled the Cathedral Bus service with VOSA from 12th October, suggesting they will not be bidding for the tender again with Durham CC.
Rumour mill states Yourbus have lost a number of National Express contracts from November. Durham depot is said to be closing with the work moving to Go NE and Jim Hughes...
MX62 GVZ has been daily for a number of weeks now. It appears Yourbus operate a similar policy to Compass on blinds. Piece of paper with "40" in the window.

It has now been joined by Optare Solo YJ10MBF, a former Optare demonstrator, I'm guessing now with Dawson Rentals.
MX62GVZ is numbered 1205 and on loan from the Midlands based fleet.
I'm assuming the electric Solos are not being repaired as they're not spending any money on them given they only have 4 weeks or so left on the contract.
An interesting twist sees Yourbus registering the 40 to run from 14th October which is when the new tender starts.... Anyone know what's going on here?

Only temporary until Saturday 26th so get your photos while you can!
Streetlite MX62GVN (1202) is currently operating there in full Yourbus livery!
The new operator will take over on Monday 28th
I think Scarlet Band will be operating the 40. What does everyone else think?

I'll go with Pygalls as they are selling a majority of there fleet in order to buy New(er) Vehicles

Not a bad suggestion Adam!

It's not a bad suggestion but its wrong... As is Scarlet Band. They wouldn't need to buy new buses as the electric Solos will transfer across as they're owned by Durham CC
Mx62 gvn 1202 is on the 40 again in full yourbus livery.
