Never really liked Mr Benn.

Might watch it in an hour or so once it's on catch up. Is it something I'd have to watch from series 1 or will I be alright starting with a new series?

You sure it was Whitley Bay Caravan Park?
There was a big sandbank/estuary in one of the shots, which made me think it was further up the coast towards Goswick Sands or (if they were desperate), Sandy Bay and Newbiggin.
Haven't watched Eastenders for a long time prior to tonight, but all of a sudden there seem to be a stack of well known actors/actresses in it.
Timothy West, Denise Van Outen, the fella from Brush Strokes and Flash adverts, a baddy from Dr Who? (no idea of her name, but she has been in other stuff) and a lass from This Life.
Then Martin is played by a different fella.

Quite sad tonight, as they announced that Jim has died (
John Bardon), as he died late last year in real life.
Liked Jim Branning in it.

Never knew he had died.
Can remember him having that big stroke a few years back like.
Guttered Stan has just died on Eastenders, Timothy West played his Character superbly throughout the Cancer Storyline.
