They're bloody brilliant! You realise how sad your life is when those videos have been the highlight of your night... Dodgy

Think a few drivers ought to review that video today!

I like playing 'Spot the one that was in Byker Grove'

It really is funny though, same issues today!

My favourite line is on the pensioners

'bloody twirly time, from now on nothing but bloody slaver'
'Woah hang on, it's not 9.30'
'My watch says 9.28 and I'm the driver of this bus, you can't use this pass'
I like trying to guess the locations. I'm pretty sure the opening sequence to the first video is filmed in the estate beneath Easedale Gardens in Low Fell/Harlow Green.

Often do runs with Stagecoach Sunderland drivers if they ask me to accompany them on their runs, and I just think it's hilarious that those lines (or words to that effect) are still very much in daily use.
Often have to refrain from laughing until the coffin dodgers have sat down and can't hear.
(Sorry to anyone who is a concessionary pass holder and/or of that age on this forum!)
Wonderful videos, some blasts from the past in there... Smile

Remember 779, worked on that one more than once, the Almex E ticket machine, the Transfare tickets with holder and the Almex validators, used to repair them. How time flies.

Never recognized John Gallagher though until saw his name on the credits.

Very good.. Smile
I remember seeing that video in 1988 when I started at City Busways at Byker, john Gallagher was my mini bus examiner, took me 2 times to pass, in later years I looked after John when he was in the Freeman, I was upset when he died he was a nice guy
Very good videos! - Brilliant!

That's just the same video but in one part?
I took the 3 parts, ran it through movavi video, and joined the parts together so it can be watched whole instead of being in 3 parts
Ah thats good, makes it easier to view. How technical!

Lyndhurst Post Office. Missing a few letters from its sign mind.

On an altogether different note, 7.35 (https://youtu.be/ZrgCCDnfDyQ?t=457) on the third video. One of the names given credit as an advisor of some sort, is Tom Dodds. Presumably the same Tom Dodds of NEBOA fame in a previous life.
Tim Dodds didn't get his name on the credits unfortunately.
