Probably be on again tonight as the board runs as follows: Service 9 during the day, 108 from Bishop Auckland from 17:30 and then the 6 from 21:15 and VU52UEF is on the 9 right now. It's usually MX08DFY.

Timetable change for the 9 from January 3rd 2017 is the service will no longer run on Saturday's.
VU52UEF is spending the day on the Town Service 9.Big Grin
JSB Travel service 9 is to be withdrawn, October 27th 2017 will be the last day.
The condition of Ex Go North East 0480.

I sampled the SB Travel 108 service from the Asda to the bus station, I was disgusted at how me and my friend were charged £2 all together for the very short journey when on Weardale 101 it's £0.50 for a adult single. When I asked the driver if he accepted contactless he said no, as such had to give cash. The driver did not give me a ticket, even though he had a ticket machine, as such im worried he pocketed the money.

The bus had various seating and looked like it was bought from a scarpyard, the driver was not dressed appropriately and his attitude was not a good example to those on the bus.

At the Morrison's car park a lady boarded and ended up standing, the bus was so busy, the driver then turned round and said "there's a seat there, it doesn't bite" and then drove away.

I noticed that the vehicle had no CCTV, as such no evidence if anything happened on-board, the bus had pretty poor branding and looked like the vehicle wasn't treated with care.

At the back it had a cream panel to go with the blue, it made the vehicle look ridicoulous.

All together I would never reccomend this company, goodness knows how Durham County Council gives them this contract!?!

Does this mean SB Travel have ceased trading? As they don't have any other routes and I don't think they do private hire.
What will happen to the 4 Optares with SB?

I'm sure the Ex Go North East Solo (480) is on the scrap list as it was a tip last time I went on it.

I would expect the other 3 to perhaps migrate over to Scarlet Band as they are still useable.
