Many thanks! Do you know if they all went for scrap or sold on for further use?
Just so I can get our lists correct Smile
Cheers!
Probably just as easy if I add my own list of what we have...

Yes, the rest of the Darts were scrapped, along with Solo NA52 NJX and Javelin R105 CKN.

Cheers! Do you have a prev reg for that one?
Also worth mentioning former GNE Scania's 5213 NK53NVH & 5214 NK53NVJ have arrived here too, painted all white. Both re-registered onto private plates presumably, one is A6HCO, any ideas of the other (and which is which!?)  Wink

How come?
(06 Nov 2020, 8:59 pm)reymyster9 wrote [ -> ]How come?

They're all surplus to requirement through fleet replacement over the past year and a bit, there's been a steady flow of "new" vehicles coming in but very little sold. Many vehicles were retained as active spares until MOT expiry then parked up and had parts removed to repair others. All now sold for scrap to free up space.
The service fleet has been tracking on Bus Times since the start of the year and earlier this week, fleetnumbers have appeared on there:

Optare Solo
YDZ533 (MX07JOH) is listed as number 2
LJU914 (MX58ACO) is listed as number 6
YJ11OJK is listed as number 20
YJ12GZL is listed as number 22

E200
YX17NTT is listed as number 5
YX17NDY is listed as number 7
YX17NTO is listed as number 8
SN65OHE is listed as number 9
YY66PCZ is listed as number 12
SN59AXB is listed as number 16
KX58GUU is listed as number 21

seems like a strange fleet number system, it doesn't seem to be categorised whatsoever

Also, some changes to the coach fleet to note

Volvo B9R Caetano Levante FJ12FYP has joined the fleet, currently in plain white.
Bova Futura WA05OSD (previously MUI534) has left as part-ex for the Levante.
Elite SD16AAG has been re-registered 198CXH and has been put into Hodgsons Coaches livery.
They're not actually our fleet numbers. It's came up with a few operators around the country recently who didn't have fleet numbers allocated and have Ticketer machines. BusTimes now seems to be dragging through the Ticketer unique vehicle ID as a fleet number if there isn't one set (they're separate fields in the Ticketer back office system), leading to this seemingly odd numbering system where they've been given an ID number in order as they're added onto the back office system.

A couple of other recent additions to the fleet are Ford Transit AF17 XFT (ex Pattisons, Darlington) and Trident/President LR52 KVS.
Previously unreported were the additions of Ford Transits NV59 BYM, AK62 YGL and NV65 VHE (now registered K2 HCO) back in September, all ex Pattisons.
New in is ex Abellio London Enviro200 YX61 BXG.

The contract between Scarlet Band and the council was terminated by mutual consent due to driver shortages at SB. Hodgsons will operate the 83/74, alongside the already acquired 70/71/72 until 29th October when most of the DCC tendered contracts are up for renewal
Now in service here is Solo SR YJ13 HKW, it spent the day operating service 72 between Darlington and Northallerton.
Just arrived this afternoon is Solo SE-R YJ13 HNR, still in SPT livery.

Has now entered service, currently retaining its SPT livery/branding: https://flic.kr/p/2notQHa

Was on service 74/83 yesterday
As mentioned in the Rural Link thread, Hodgsons are currently operating service 87 between Bishop Auckland and Toft Hill on an interim basis with YX17NTT operating it today: https://flic.kr/p/2nw5Bbo

Currently on loan to Hodgsons from M&D Travel is Plaxton Primo KX08OLB: https://flic.kr/p/2nwdhgS
I saw Ford Transit minibus W6 BUS at Bishop Auckland bus station earlier today, so I'm guessing that's doing driver shuttles? I know that JH Coaches often had a couple of their minibuses parked up at the Arnison centre for that reason when they were covering some runs on the 64.
Service 87 to Toft Hill will resume a full timetable including evening journeys from Monday 22nd August, Hodgsons will continue to operate this service.
Hodgsons will run service 16 in Darlington from next week following Scarlet Band's closure:

Good news - we've found a replacement operator to take over the Service 16 bus route.

Our officers swung into action when Scarlet Band, who ran the service, announced the business was to close at the end of this month, and we can now revealed that Hodgsons Coaches, of Barnard Castle, will take over the contract from Monday (31 October).

Andy Keir, deputy leader, said: “The closure of Scarlet Band is a terrible shame as they have been a key supporter of services and a highly regarded operator in Darlington for almost a decade, but it’s good news that we have been able to find an alternative operator for this service.”

Now in service here is Enviro 200MMC SN67 XBB, one of three that arrived earlier in the week alongside SN67 XBC and XBD. A further three are due shortly (XBE, XBF and XBG). All six are 9.7m with 34 seats and feature a euro6 engine coupled to a Voith gearbox.
