Any confirmed details on the MAX spec?

E-leather seating and free wi-fi as part of the refurbishment, mainly for interurban routes in the North East, unsure what other regions will do with it. The livery should be similar to the new Wakefield livery on the E200 shown around various groups in the last week.
Do you think the Optare Solo SR could be a possibility for the 57/57A and X14 next year?
Hi Scott

The 11 StreetLites for Southern Counties are for service 480 and will be to Sapphire specification.

Thanks very much!
I've updated the top post with a few more details.
Confirmation from WM Bus Photos forum that the 18 Streetlites for Midlands are spread between 3 depots.
Plus the North East order has 3 Streetlites for Ashington, rather than 2. That's the only real change.

Still more to find so if you know more, let me know Wink
It seems that the X18 order has gone down from 6 to 5.

Meanwhile the new E400s for X21/X22 has increased to 7 from 6. The X18 PVR is 6, though. Not sure what the reasoning is
Probably to aid with reliability. I love GNE'S fully kitted out deckers with high back seating, Wi-Fi and power sockets but Sapphire will be a whole new level in the North East. Good investment from Arriva also showing commitment with a service. They're starting to listen and work with passengers more now than what they previously did. I know I might've put Arriva down on a few things in the past such as operations and fleet policy but they're getting better and far better since they made all the cuts back in September 2012 and rebuilt the network from there. The only things that they need to work on is vehicle allocation, more lenient and achieveable timetabling, introduce radio communication and more contactable customer services.

I'm actually really happy with ANE Customer Services lately - getting back within one day after a query as to how much a return journey would be on the 685 was commendable.
Only thing they need to work on is their Social Media opening hours...!

I've seen a real improvement too. Got a reply within 2 days about my service suggestions, and the drivers seem a bit more polite too.
The only dealing I had with Customer Services was to log a complaint about a 43 that turned up almost 15 minutes late but I couldn't get through for any reason whatsoever. Also about timetabling, I'd rather a frequency temporarily decreased from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes between one or two buses just for the sole purpose of knowing when the bus is going to turn up instead of waiting around. I notice with the afternoon 43 runs towards Cramlington that at kicking out time, the bus gets jam packed for all the kids going home from Gosforth academy and in turn, the bus gets held up leading onto a delay. It would be much better if Arriva timetabled the service so that drivers have more leeway and can keep the service to time instead of having to go into overdrive mode.
Scott, the 19 Enviro400s for Speke are rumoured to be for services 86 and 86A.

Cheers!
Also, 20 of the Enviro400s are for Rhyl depot in Wales. From what I've heard, 18 of them will be to Sapphire specification with two spares.

Looks smart, will there be branding on the max services and if so will be it similar to Sapphire branding?
Credit to information from Bob Smith on Flickr - the 101 (Gillingham - Maidstone) is due 6 new Sapphire Enviro400s. Three of the route's existing E400s will be refurbished to Sapphire spec as well.

Nice to see the orders are starting to trickle through! Updated the top post with all of the information known so far...
Hello all,

The nine Enviro200s that aren't going to Yorkshire are going to TGM for Route E10 (Northolt - Ealing Broadway). Registrations and Fleet Numbers are as follows:

3425-33 YX14RYO/P/R/T/U/V/W/Y/Z

Information courtesy of Ian Rivett's 'Bus News' publication.

Also, full list of registrations for the Yorkshire batch, courtesy of Bus Lists on the Web:

1001-31 YY14LFM/N/O/P/R/S/T/U/V/W/X/Z, LGA/C/D/E/F/G/J/K/L/N/O/U/V/W/X/Z, LHA/B/C
Ave updated the top post with all of the latest information known, including the start of the deliveries of E400s for Wales.
Also, Derby are now said to be getting 7 E400s so someone else must have one less on order, possibly one of the other Midlands depots.
I've heard that the E400 order for Southport has been decreased from 9 to 8 so that could be why Derby are due 7 E400s instead of 6.
The registrations of the Rhyl Enviro400s are as follows:

4536 CX14 BXV
4537 CX14 BXW
4538 CX14 BXY
4539 CX14 BXZ
4540 CX14 BYA
4541 CX14 BXD
4542 CX14 BXE
4543 CX14 BXF
4544 CX14 BXG
4545 CX14 BXH
4546 CX14 BXJ
4547 CX14 BXK
4548 CX14 BXL
4549 CX14 BXM
4550 CX14 BXN
4551 CX14 AZG
4552 CX14 AZJ
4553 CX14 AZL
4554 CX14 AZN
4555 CX14 AZO

Thanks to Smithy from the Merseyside Dennis Dart Website for this information.
All of the Enviro 400's for Rhyl are now believed to have been delivered so we should start seeing E400's for other depots being delivered very soon! Talking of deliveries, the first Streetlite has been spotted at Heysham on Friday, numbered 3651 which should make it one for Arriva Shires.
Just out of curiosity, with the Micro Hybrid Streetlites, will that then mean that there will be Rechargeable Sensors put into the Road for where it stops for example at Haymarket Bus Station and in Blyth on the 306, Similar to the examples used with Arriva The Shires and Essex.

Oh dear, if they are, i can see nothing but problems!
Micro Hybrid means they use a flywheel in the drive system which recovers the energy that's usually wasted when braking. This energy is then used to run auxiliary systems such as interior lighting, therefore there's less fuel being used to run these systems and thus improving the fuel economy. The Micro Hybrid StreetLites also look just like any other StreetLite.
