The shot aureolin has me in, is the shot I thought I would be in.
Were you following Kingsley's 252 in?

I seen you walking around too then, and Dan Picken.
I've somehow managed to evade being photographed despite walking into many shots.
However, I believe Dan has posted a link to a news article in another thread containing a photograph with me in it (I'm in the background!).

I will have to check the photos out again, before committing either way.
All I will say at this stage is, I could have been driving a car, driving a bus, running past in my athletics gear, sauntering past on a walk of shame or sitting on a bus as a passenger.

If you walked in front of me as I was about to take a photo, I would of let you go past before taking the Photo, as I hate having Photos with others in them to be honest as I feel it makes me look impatient and in a rush, which in I turn I feel takes a lot away from the Photograph itself, more so when it's a group of 3 or 4 people which is what it was like at the Henry Cooper Paramount Yesterday, hence why I didn't get a Photo, but this was because Myself and others were taking interest in the Owners GNE Models/Repainted Models which he was selling for a Bargain £5 each Unboxed.
But that's just me and nothing against the person getting in the way, no idea if anyone else feels this way when they are at Bus Rallies, but for the Example above that was the only time I went really close to a Vehicle on Display, otherwise I stood a few yards away taking my Photos to allows others to take Photos also.
Here is an example of what I am talking about, obviously here there bloke was clearly taking the mickey while someone was wanting to take a Photo, hopefully it was nobody on NEB I hope

I took our eldest (5 years old) and he loved it. Me too! He especially loved the ride on 3833 on the tour through Riverside. He insisted on sitting upstairs right at the back, reckoning that you get a longer ride by sitting at the back.
The people from Kingsleys were spot on - the guy (and I presumed his son) were fantastic. He let myself and my Son sit in the cab of the Trident, and even let him toot the horn which he was over the moon with.
I don't know anyone on here person, but recognised a few people in the flesh. At some point I wanderered past Messers Cooper, Kuy, Kennedy, Westgarth, Gray, Stanness, Smith & Hunter that I recognised form the world of t'internet and I presume Bazza was the guy in the Sunderland shirt with his name on the back. It's a funny one, I found myself smiling at someone at one point before reminding myself that I don't actually know them, and in reality they're probably wondering who this weirdo is.

Are you going to tell us which link or are you gonna be as vague as me?

Another one to be rumbled...
I might have gotten you too, but I probably won't upload my photos for years. Then you might find yourself in an embarressing pose like this bloke from a photo I took at the Seaburn Rally in 2003 that I recently uploaded. Looks like he's doing some sort of Michael Jackson dance.

Marcus' Angel friend didn't leave her bus though, and she was sensible when moving the bus too. Had good words to say about her! There was a guy from Percy Main there too if memory serves - played everything by the book and he accompanied everyone around that Cobalt Connect.
Drivers who were there as enthusiasts (I.e. not in uniform) drove buses too. That shouldn't have happened.
Obvious difference between preserved vehicles being left unattended and GNE's vehicles being left unattended is that the drivers who brought GNE's vehicles to the rally don't own them...
On that subject, I don't think anyone was supposed to board the two demonstration vehicles that were there, other than the designated drivers who brought them along and had received training on that vehicle type etc. I got cab shots of both, and it wasn't until I uploaded the photos that I was told I shouldn't have been on the bus.
If Go North East are in attendance this year (which is entirely possible, as there are one or two things of interest popping up soon), don't expect things to be as relaxed as last year - I can't imagine folk will be allowed in the cabs to fiddle with destination displays etc.
I know this is almost a month later, but the woman who was in 6070 last year and 5258 this year was Pat Armstrong; probably one of Chester's best drivers in my opinion.

Funny how he's also got the "What are you doing taking my photo" look too.
