Hopefully if events are arranged in future, we'll see a few more faces there!

I will probably be there  Big Grin
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit through to Nightingale Coaches today, and it was actually my first visit to an independent depot. I met Jimmi through Durham Bus Station, we hopped on to the 43 through to Stanley, and found the depot with ease.

The staff at the depot were very accommodating and friendly, and even took us on two runs out. One down the road for a photo stop, and another one to Stanley bus station. There is a lot of fantastic stock in their depot, and it was good to bump into a few Palatine 1s again. Smile

Thanks to all involved! A few photos below:

Would've loved to have attended, however the prospect of having to go to Stanley twice in one day put me off a little. Nice to hear it was an enjoyable occasion though, perhaps next time for me.
Sadly I was at work this morning otherwise it would have been a nice little visit! The fleet of Geminis looks very smart, a great job done on converting them by the looks of it.
I went along to the depot this morning for some photos. It was nice for them to be very welcoming and friendly including taking us out on some runs on one of their B7's.

I certainly enjoyed my visit and thanks to all involved today Smile

Think it's only fair that I get to show some of my photos, although I'll post a link to my Nightingale Coaches album on Flickr below.

Thanks to those who turned up on the day, weather wasn't the best but no body can change that. Still some brilliant images and it's nice to see new additions to the fleet getting some attention as well as the old deckers

Gutted i missed this. I think it would have been a brilliant day. Just checked now to see if there was any advance on the date and time only to find it had already taken place.

Blame BT who have left me without internet for a week when it should have only been until Wednesday last week! Because of this, i have been limiting myself on what to view etc. This is also the reason why i didn't post my predictions for the games in the relevant thread for this weekend just gone.
A few enthusiasts outside main gates catching the first one of our deckers leaving for new contacts this afternoon,
Feel free to upload pictures we'd love to see them

Is the rumour true that Nightingale Coaches are possibly moving to the old TGM Classic depot at Annfield Plain? I know its rumoured that Stanley Travel are going into the ex-TGM Classic caravan storage site.

Yes - they had told us that's the plan, when we were there the other week.

Ah right. Obviously, with me not being there due to internet problems meaning i missed the post saying when it was, i could only assume that it was a rumour still rather than the actual plan. Thanks.
I really need to pay a visit to Nightingale again, been a while since I visited their depot, think it wasn't too long after they got that coach from Go North East. Those Geminis look really smart.

Nice - is it only on loan/hire for the duration of the contract or has Nightingale acquired it on a more permanent basis?

Your new Streetlite looks very smart in that shade of London Bus red.

An interesting move, given that the Streetlite is only reportedly on-loan to the company.
When does the 28C finish?
