Sad news: 34401, which has been languishing in the compound behind Gloucester garage for some time, has now gone, reported as "disposed of following component removal".

Certainly does. Should make that the fleet livery!
Caught up with a couple of the ex Sunderland/Hartlepool Darts (35160 et al) that make up the bulk of the Thandi fleet today. The three stagecarraige services they operate them on form a frequent service between Walsall and Darlaston bus stations if anyone’s ever down that way & interested. No effort has been made to de-stagecoach them inside, retaining fleet numbers, logos and even adverts for mega riders and Connect Tees Valley! Can’t see this posing too much of an issue as the West Midlands is about as far away from Stagecoach territory as you can get.
Also noted how much healthier the bus market seemed around that area, from a quick observation anyway, despite the dominance on NXWM.
35195 was the only ex-native example I managed to ride/observe on a recent trip to the Highlands.
Still going strong.
Sounded like a Volvo 'hoover' mind. That threw me a bit.
Ex Newcastle 19032 & 19036 in Sheffield last Saturday
34564 still alive and well, continuing to serve Stagecoach West - out on their route 66 today, which does a loop round from Gloucester via Stroud to Cheltenham, and is quite a good workout for an elderly Dart!
Seen in Torquay and Dartmouth today were ex Shields Dart SLF 34610/12 and 34614.
Looked in good condition and appeared to be in regular use
Question though. When transferred from North East to South West. Who would have done the transfer. Would each sector travel halfway and do handover somewhere in the middle? Or would one of the sectors travel the whole distance, if so which sector?
