June 2020 Go North East Photograph by Driver Training buses have been fitted with extra tables and re-deployed at depots as bait buses to allow better social distancing during drivers' breaks. This vehicle has therefore been reinstated at Riverside Depot.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
September 2018 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has now received "Join the Team!" branding; which showcases some of the benefits of joining the company and training at the Team GNE Academy, such as free travel benefits, free uniform, and high-street retailer discounts.
May 2018 Go North East Photograph by In order to improve the appearance of the Driver Training fleet, the entire batch of Scania L94s are to undergo repaint. Having previously carried a plain red base livery, this vehicle has now received a plain blue livery. It is intended for the batch to have branding fitted in the future, showcasing some of the benefits of joining "Team GNE" thereby acting as a mobile advertisement for the company's recruitment programme.
April 2017 Go North East Following the completion of modifications at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, this vehicle has returned to service within Riverside's Driver Training fleet.
April 2017 Go North East Following the cascade of Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5254 (NK56 KJA) from Stanley Depot to Percy Main, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Percy Main and is currently receiving modifications at Thorntons Brothers, Ashington, ahead of impending cascade to the Driver Training fleet.
December 2016 Go North East This vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Percy Main. At Percy Main; this vehicle will allow for the disposal of a Volvo B10BLE/Wright Renown vehicle, presently allocated to Miscellaneous Works services on weekdays and acting as a primary spare vehicle for "Blue Arrow" service 11 on Saturdays.
November 2016 Go North East Service changes taking place on Sunday 6th November 2016 saw the operation of service 9 (Sunderland - North Shields) transfer from Percy Main Depot to Deptford, and this vehicle has hence transferred from Percy Main Depot to Deptford in line with the operation of the service.
July 2016 Go North East Photograph by Ahead of service changes which will see a PVR reduction at Riverside Depot as a result of the withdrawal of service 11 (Newcastle - Blackhall Mill), this vehicle has transferred to Percy Main Depot, acting as a dedicated spare vehicle for the new "Blue Arrow" 11 service (Whitley Bay - Metrocentre).
July 2016 Go North East Photograph by Originally added to commemorate the company's centenary year in 2013, this vehicle has had its 'Northern' fleet names stripped ahead of the introduction of a new company corporate livery.
