In partnership with Teesside International Airport by Tees Valley Mayor, Ben Houchen, Arriva North East has extended service 12 to link the airport directly with Darlington town centre, as well as Hurworth, Middleton St George and Morton Park. The new route includes two stops at the terminal building before 9am and four stops after 3pm. This extension has been designed with the airport’s current mid-morning departures, as well as afternoon arrivals from Amsterdam and Aberdeen in mind. The news comes as part of the airport’s ‘10-Year Rescue Plan’ to grow passenger numbers, attract new routes, support businesses locally and on-site and draw new companies to the airport. As part of this partnership, this vehicle has received a promotional livery for the airport.
