This vehicle has moved from Stockton to Stockton (Under Repair), whilst undergoing DDA modifications at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, which will enable this vehicle to be used after 1st January 2016 (which is when all single-deck vehicles which do not meet PSVAR / DDA regulations have to be withdrawn from public service).

This vehicle has received "The Great North Road Routes" branding, promoting the combined 7-minute frequency of services 43/44/45 between Newcastle City Centre, Gosforth, Regent Centre and Wideopen. As part of the upgrade, this vehicle has also been fitted with free passenger Wi-Fi.

With the allocation of "Frequenta" service 63 being split between VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 and Temsa Avenue vehicles, the latter type require repaint following the recent repainting and branding of the former type. This vehicle has now been treated to a partial repaint which sees the removal of the cowhorn from the normal corporate livery, prior to gaining "Frequenta"... see more

This vehicle has been repainted into Arriva's new corporate livery. The company's new corporate identity, which includes a new logo and brighter colours, will be applied across the group in a phased introduction.
